Terminex International

Waited for the terminex guy who called stating that he was lost. He was to assess the property and treat nut he performed a very poor assessment of the property. He seemed to have been in a lot of pain so he didnt perform the assessmemt as expected. He then gave me a price and asked me to pay up front to schedule someone else to come out and do the job… very dissatisfied with terminex. I called Orkin and they came out the same day, assessed the property and treated. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH ORKIN. THANKS ORKIN MAN!

If I could give Terminix zero stars I would. On two separate occasions, I was told that representatives would come out and both times I did not receive a phone call nor did Terminix come to my house. I wasted two afternoons waiting for them to show up.

my experiences with the Terminex company.
On ⁷⁄₂₁ Ken came out and assessed there is a rodent problem, another visit was needed to place traps.
On ⁷⁄₂₃ William came out but never rang the bell here — just as I was going to go out to his truck to ask what the problem was he drove off.
It appears they went to the wrong address and claimed I wasn’t home — I was home all day that day.
Today, ⁷⁄₃₀ Rocky came out and when he learned that he had to go in the attic and where the sounds of the rodents were he informed me:
1) that it was too hot to go in the attic (then they shouldn’t have scheduled a 3 to 5pm appt and show up at 4:15pm).
2) He also stated that the rodents were too far into the unit and would only be placing traps around the door into the attic
3) he also informed me that since we are connected that his work wouldn’t be sufficient to assist with the problem.
He clearly didn’t want to work or go in the attic so I asked him to leave the house without doing any work.

Despite receiving assurances that I would receive my refund in 3 business days, I still have not received my refund.

not sure if they are all one company the number I use is a 630 area code. For $ 1,100 they sprayed for bedbugs in three apartments in one building. Apartments were empty when sprayed. They continued to spray and each service man seemed sincere and said that the problem was the previous service man or their dispatcher is from somewhere far away and has no idea how far they hv e to drive blah blah 10 weeks later there are still bedbugs. Now service men don’t show up. Operator in bufu or wherever says they’ll be there and no one shows. Don’t believe their money back guarantee. I was disconnected when I brought that one up.

My husband set up a free estimate for today between 10am and noon. We waited all day and called several times. Nobody ever showed up and we ended up taking the hornet’s nest down by ourselves!

I sat and waited at my home on a Saturday for 5 hours waiting beyond the 4 hour block of time that they force you into for Terminex to arrive. Of course, they had guaranteed that he will be here and I completely rearranged my schedule to accommodate their technician’s openings. No one showed. The systems were down (which I have heard from them several times in the past) so no one knows when this person may or may not show. They were completely unhelpful and borderline rude when I called. Don’t ever use them!
