«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» definitely describes this place. They have less menu options than a Panda Express, yet unlike Panda, you can’t watch them cook it. However, you might like to keep your eyes on them when they cook your food because I was able to get a glimpse of the kitchen from the register and you can see that the cooks do not wear sanitation gloves. I’m not sure how they haven’t gotten written up with health-code violations yet. Anyway, the food isn’t over-priced, but it is «ho-hum». I’ve had better chicken teriyaki with noodles from a box. I’d go to Panda Express before coming back here… if only they had a Panda Express in this town.

Help a lot with our companies big take out orders. Helped me take all of it out to my car. Was fast and friendly and food was very good. Out Japanese clients prefer this place so you know it’s the real deal!

There quality has gone way down hill, meat was barely cooked and about half as much as they used to put. Rice is mushy. Colesslaw and vegitables are still good. This has been this way for a few times in a row.

Looked promising. Cool place. Simple but modern décor. Stuck to the tables. 2 of our 4 dinners were cold. They were not happy when I asked them to start again. Beef teriyaki was very thin sliced and without flavor. Chicken any gyoza were okay. They could do better.

I stopped in here for lunch while in town on business. The restaurant was clean and open with good lighting. I ordered the chicken with noodles combo. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. It comes in a «to go» container even though I said my order was for«here,» which is fine, as I’m assuming they do that so people don’t have to ask for a to go box when they’re done. The teriyaki sauce comes in a cup which is nice for people who want to control how much sauce is on their food. The food itself tasted fresh and the sauce was pretty good. I ate pretty much the whole container! If I’m in the area again I would certainly consider this place.

I was not impressed with the teriyaki here. The best thing about it was it was fresh. However, it is like charred chicken with bland teriyaki sauce over it. I do not understand all the high ratings. Maybe it’s because I travel and get lucky with so much good teriyaki in the puget sound area. I do no recommend this place.

In town for a swim meet, heard about J’s and decided to swing by. Good teriyaki, great atmosphere, and very relaxing. I enjoyed it so much, I decided to come back the next day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick fix of teriyaki.

I love this place! The sauce really rocks my cock off! It’s an instant foodgasam every time I take a bite out of the well grilled pork. It gets mood in the mood to pork, and then I remember that my wife is a fucking cunt. But anyways eat here!

This place is fast and it is easy to get your teriyaki fix. They have very little competition so I am lead to believe there is some complacency or laziness in execution at times. They are busy all the time and probably making bank! This is why it wouldn’t be too much to ask for a little extra rice vinegar and sesame oil mixture on my cabbage salad. Maybe less large chunks of celery in my stir fry veggies? The décor is pretty nice and the service is fast and utilitarian. The food is very simple and I’m usually left wanting more options. A fresh wok line would be a nice edition. I love well-sauced stir fry veggies from a wok that I could get from teriyaki places on the west side of the state. Don’t get me wrong, the food is expected in quality but nothing to write home about.

The pork and rice was really good, but there was way more rice than pork. The staff was friendly, but the plating isn’t very professional.

Great food, fast service, super staff. This is the best food in Moses Lake. Try the Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice and a side of egg rolls. Great to take out or to sit down inside.

Searched and found this place on Unilocal and decided to try them. The fact that they offer delivery was a great plus for them. The food was okay, chicken was a bit dry but much too much rice and not even meat kind. We were very disappointed with the fried rice, however. It was more like regular steamed rice with a little brown sauce and some mixed vegetables thrown in. On a whole, they were very courteous and friendly to deal with. I’ll patronize them again whenever we’re in the area.

We stopped her on our way home from Spokane to Olympia. We wanted something other than traditional fast food and looked on Unilocal and found this place. It was easy enough to find off the freeway. The atmosphere is very hip, open, minimalist, and clean. The guy who took our order was very brusque and unfriendly. I wasn’t impressed with that but we came for the food so whatevs. The food was pretty good, it was average teriyaki nothing less nothing more. The meat portion was on the smaller side and I thought the prices were on the higher side for what you got. The thing I DIDNOT like, and I am not even a serious greener, is they use take out containers to serve food in, even if you are eating in. This seems SO wasteful. I get that they dont want to do dishes but seriously? That is a lot of trash thrown back into the ground and I just didnt like that.

Jay’s Teriyaki was spot on. I loved the Chicken teriyaki and fried rice! The coleslaw was so-so, but I wouldn’t let it keep you from eating there. You have to try this place — it won’t disappoint.

We have always loved this place – we eat there at least once a month, but usually closer to once a week, and have never had a problem with them until tonight. Apparently they are awesome as long as you don’t have an issue, because their customer service leaves a *LOT* to be desired. I called tonight to order dinner for 4. They picked up and asked if I wanted delivery or carry out, I told them delivery and they asked for my credit card info. This is a bit weird since they hadn’t taken my order, and I suppose I should’ve questioned it in retrospect, but realistically I was going to pay with my credit card anyway, so it didn’t seem that weird in the moment. He then tells me that my card went through and that my order would be at our door in about an hour. I point out that I hadn’t ordered anything yet, and he gets flustered and tells me to «hang on» while I hear him talk to his supervisor saying he just ran my card for someone else’s order(meanwhile I’m logging in to my bank account, and sure enough, there is already a $ 24 charge from J’s.). The supervisor walks him through the refund process, which is fine, of course. Then the same counter jockey gets back on the phone, throws out a blasé apology(«sorry about that!») and asks me what I’d like to order. I explain that since my bank is going to take 2 – 3 business days to actually process their refund, I am not going to give them any more money until I see that the refund actually posts to my account, and that unless they are going to give me our order for free tonight, then I needed nothing else. He took my number and said they’d call back. 15 minutes later, the same counter jockey calls me back(seriously? Why wouldn’t a supervisor call me back after the dinner rush was over?) and says the supervisor told him that my card wasn’t actually charged because cards aren’t charged until the food goes out or something. I point out that his supervisor is wrong, as the charge went through while we were still on the phone LASTTIME, and that I had pulled up my bank account while he was talking to his supervisor in the background after he realized his mistake and it was already there. He says that«they» can’t do anything else. Nice… this is why basic retail/restaurant customer service 101 teaches you that a manager/supervisor should deal with any sort of disputes or apologies when a mistake happens. Your counter jockey illegally(though clearly mistakingly) charged my card without authorization – I do not think you comping my meal tonight or at least offering some semblance of a discount for my next visit is out of line. Less than $ 5 in food costs to comp an order because of their own mistake would have saved them a regular customer. How a business chooses to handle their own errors speaks volumes about their integrity. Having been a business owner myself, I know first hand that going above and beyond when you make a mistake is the best way to ensure a return customer.

Hip. Clean. Good prices. Good portions. In retrospect I would skip getting my 6&4 year old a kids meal to share and would just have them share from my teriyaki chicken, I had that much left over… I will say I could do without the cabbage, it was just blah. Not what I was expecting. If you’re in the area definitely try it out!

I always get the chicken teriyaki with noddles and no veggies :) it is so good! The price is very fair and the portions are huge! My wife and I always enjoy going here! We usually call in our orders then go down and pick it up.

Great food & service and won’t break the bank. I especially look forward to Mondays and Thursday where they have the 2/$ 12 deal. It used to be $ 10, but still a good deal nonetheless.
