Divine Designs

Thank you Devine Designs for helping me sell my house. When I first put my house on the market it sat there without any interest for 3 months. My realtor then convinces me to stage my home and the comments were fabulous after it was all staged. I did receive and offer shortly there after and I am pleased to say that I would definitely recommend Devine Designs for staging.

We are very happy with the results of hiring Divine Designs. The staff has taken care of us and our house. Being professional and thorough has taken the stress off our family and we can concentrate on other things. I would definitely recommend Devine Designs to all of our family and friends !

Let me just say this — it could not have been a more unpleasant customer service experience for me.
They were recommended by my realtor, but we were definitely at odds from the beginning. The one good thing I would say is that they had a good sense of where to place items. However, I was not happy generally with the look and feeling of the items they had, including some pieces that were very dirty. But what bothered me most was the lack of appreciation (or maybe the complete disrespect) for the customer perspective.

So Divine Design was recommended by my Realtor. The quote I got was definitely above what I was expecting given the service and furniture provided. But since this service was recommended, I decided that we should sign them up.
The initial consultation was perfectly pleasant, nothing special, but nothing bad.
The problem came with the actual staging. Divine Designs clearly has VERY limited inventory and only uses just what they have available at the time, rather than choosing what is best to show off your house.
When we had huge oversize furniture staging our small living room, I requested it be switched out to something smaller and more appropriate for the space. And after three weeks of requests (and finally me going ballistic at my real estate agent because nothing happened — allegedly because Divine Designs had gone on vacation), I heard back and was told that they had nothing else available.
Disgraceful way of doing business. If it were a cheap service, then I wouldn’t mind so much. But it wasn’t cheap, not my any means.
At least I can try and spread the word so that other unsuspecting sellers don’t run into the same problems.
