History
Established in 2003.
The Pacific Coast Steamship Company building that now houses the Inn was constructed in 1906 following the San Francisco earthquake. This building was originally built as an office building with 6 individual offices and a parlor. In later years one office became a kitchen, a dining/laundry nook was added, and a bathroom fit in.
The simple colonial revival style is in vernacular pyramid cottage form used just after the turn of the century mostly in «company towns». The simple fireplaces include bricks salvaged from damaged buildings in the 1906 earthquake made by the Sante Fe masonry.
This building has been fully renovated and recently opened as a bed and breakfast inn. The effort to save this building has been awarded a historic preservation award from the Moss Landing Chamber of Commerce.
In the back, a boathouse with guestrooms has been added. This building takes advantage of views of wildlife and the marshlands.
