How are eye examinations different at Westonka Vision Center? Your eye examination is not done by a technician or by a machine. Dr. Rottach personally does every eye exam himself. Having completed well over 80,000 examinations, he has the experience and expertise to work with you to create the best prescription for your particular vision demands. The eye health portion of the exam may include:
Tests for cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Evaluation of external structures for eyelid disease and dry eyes.
Visual field testing for neurological defects.
Nerve fiber analysis which can diagnose changes related to glaucoma several years before they show up on other conventional tests.
Digital photography to document eye conditions for future monitoring.
We offer all types of contact lenses, including contacts for bifocals, astigmatism.
