History

Established in 1959.

Highway Tire was first located on Route 38 where Mt Holly Bicycles is located now. Stan and Fran Scott purchased the business in 1964 and it has been growing ever since. In 1969 they built the building where we are located today. In 1993, their daughter Suzanne took over the operation. Over the years, Highway Tire went from just tires to specializing in all types of automotive repair and towing services. They also have two sister locations Medford Tire in Southampton, NJ and Tire Emporium in Newfield, NJ. Please visit our web site for more information on our business and special offers.

Suzanne has worked at Highway Tire for over 20 years. Growing up in the tire business it was natural for her to take over from her parents in 2003. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in business from The College of New Jersey and is also a Certified NJ State Emissions Technician.

I have been going to highway tires for years i will continue to do so, I have never had a bad experience going there they have always been very honest and have taken care of my vehicles with such good care, if I had my choice to take my car anywhere else I would never do that only highway tire it is a phenomenal place with a phenomenal staff!!!

I went here after reading the reviews and liking the fact that it’s a family owned business local to me. I can honestly say that it has been one of the best experiences I have had yet… they were honest and down to earth. I wasn’t sure if I needed two or four tires… there was absolutely no pressure to get all four at once, however I did because the price for my tires was better than one quoted to me by a family member at a different company. As I was in the shop I overheard them tell another customer who thought he needed brakes that he was still safe with his current brakes… no hard sell or pushing something he didn’t need yet. Very happy with this experience and will continue to use them.

This place has been visited by us twice now, and this is our vehicles new spot for repairs and such, so patient, honest, and no nickel and dimming. They treat you like family.
Since 2001, my Jeep has been serviced by this company. They are reliable, honest, and loyal. I love how upfront they are about WHAT they want to do to your vehicle, they explain WHY they want to do it, and some of the technicians (if you get to know them) will even show you HOW they are going to do what they want to do to your vehicle.
I will ALWAYS take my Jeep here. I feel like a part of the family. It even hit my family and me rather hard when we heard the news of Big Mike’s passing. That’s how important you, as a customer, are to this place; they care.
In this reviewer’s opinion, if you had a bad experience here, you weren’t listening, probably on your phone, taking your frustrations out on them, or just a jerk and you don’t deserve to be serviced by them.

Happened to pick up a bolt lodged into my tire on route 38 in Mt. Holly. The thumping was so loud, it needed immediate attention. Drove into Goodyear Highway Tire without an appointment. Bob Fleming was very cordial even though it was extremely busy. He had the tire repaired in about 45 minutes. Sue, who was very efficient and pleasant presented us with our bill and we were on our way. The interaction of the staff seemed to be very

From quote to replaced tires, total time took under 40 mins. I was surprised considering the large volume of cars in the lot and customers at the counter when I arrived. I Will return with my other vehicles! Parking Lot entrance is a bit cramped and tricky to get in and out of but Im learning that this is typical of New Jersey.

I have been taking my cars here for years. took my car in for inspection and back brakes. According to the manager the brakes didn’t need replacing only adjusting. most honest and ethical repair shop I know.
