Car buying is always a difficult process because dealers make it difficult. Having bought new, used and also leased cars throughout my life, I know the process & I know cars. J&S Autohaus is one of the better dealers that I have bought from. Khader was great and is not your stereotypical car salesman. I found the vehicle through a AAA auto buying program so I had a set price. I spoke to Khader a couple of times before I went to the dealer. He was courteous, answered all my questions and was very accommodating. He had no problems at all with me having a mechanic inspect the car which I did and recommend everyone to do. In my test drive, I could tell the brakes needed to be replaced which Khader said they will replace. Long story, short — they replaced the brakes. I already had financing arranged through my credit union but J&S got me a lower rate which was great especially since my credit is not good. Also they do not charge excessive fees that other dealers try to add to the price.
This was a no pressure transaction. They are not pushy and let you spend as much time as you want inspecting/​driving the vehicle. I would recommend them completely.
I did take off 1 star for a couple of reasons: 1) the vehicle should have been ready-​to-​sell meaning the brakes should have been changed before a customer test drives it (saves a lot of time and effort); and 2) watch the finance guy. There was probably some miscommunication with the pricing & financing. For example, I only wanted 60 month loan but they had my paperwork as 72 months. Don’t let them talk you into 72 months because there appeared to be a GAP coverage included with 72 months that doesn’t exist with 60 months or less. Also make sure you do the math before getting to the dealer and check all numbers.
They do advertise in different auto sites or go to their website. Again ask for Khader.

I went in as a first time car buyer who had extensively researched the vehicles I wanted and came in with a negotiating price from my bank, as well as financing through them. Khader and the others at the dealership were incredibly flexible — they did ask me if I wanted to finance through them, and it turned out to be a better deal, but they 100% supported me comparing with the USAA loan. They are upfront about warranty lengths, work with insurance to get you on the road (which is tough for New Jersey buyers) and were courteous and highly professional. One of the times I can be happy to say «it was a pleasure doing business with you.»

I was dreading having to buy a car. However, my experience here was so good! They were helpful, nice and accommodating in every way. Khader was an awesome sales person! I would highly recommend anyone buying a vehicle to come here first!

Greetings all and I also just purchased my THIRD vehicle from J & S. When it comes to buying a pre-​owned vehicle this is everyone’s ONLY CHOICE!
I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Genesis and couldn’t be any HAPPIER (previous purchases were a 2010 Nissan Rogue and my wife traded up into a Mazda CX-​9). I was taken care of by Jesus and Salim. They were able to take in my trade and even showed me how I was screwed by a previous dealership (old vehicle had structure damage which was never stated), all this and I even got a GREAT APR %.

I just purchased my third vehicle from J&S. When it comes to buying a pre owned vehicle this should be everyone’s first and last stop! I just picked up a fully loaded Honda Accord and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I was taken care of by Salim and Eli. They were able to take in my trade and keep my payment the same while lowering my APR %. Great service and great dealership.

Def stay clear of these conartists. They sold my husband a vehicle listed as in «perfect» condition… The inside is all tore up, seats are torn plastic all gauged up a bunch of dings and a HUGE dent on the back of the bed… Not to mention some missing small parts around where that huge dent is… willing to live with that damage and fixed it a check engine light came on — and its a light that will fail inspection-​when hooked up to a computer it shows they cleared the light rather than fix the problem. Once confronted they said they dont offer a 30 day warranty on vehicles and refused to even work with him to fix the issue! How can u honestly sell someone a car when it wont pass inspection… Only after telling the salesman he hooked it up to a computer and saw they cleared the light did he want to «help». They had him come in and looked at the vehicle and cleared the light AGAIN (after he told them not to clear it, they did it anyways) and told him they want to make «good» on their end of the deal and said theyd look around and maybe they could meet in the middle and he pay half for the part. They called him with a price still higher than what he could fine the part for himself. This place is a joke. They clearly dont care about «making good» on any of your deals. Dont waste your time going here.
