Established in 2006.

We at RockStar realize that choosing which studio is right for your child can be a difficult choice. We would like take this opportunity to tell you a little about our studio, and why we feel that you and your child will love RockStar.

We know it is important for our customers to understand how we run our business and the history of RockStar. Here is some information to help you better understand what RockStar is all about!

Our studio is owned and operated by Lacy Chandler. She has been in the industry for 14 years. She has owned and operated a dance studio for the past 13 years. Prior to owning RockStar, Lacy owned and operated F.A.C.E.S., Front and Center Entertainment Studio for five years. Seven years ago, she chose to close F.A.C.E.S. and relocate the studio to Mt. Juliet with a new look, a new idea, and a new name…

Meet the Business Owner

Lacy C.

Business Owner

Lacy (Bailey) Chandler moved to Nashville, TN in 1999 to pursue her music career. She decided to take a teaching position at a local dance studio and immediately found her calling. In 2001 Lacy opened F.A.C.E.S. (Front and Center Entertainment Studios) and continued to own and operate the studio for the next five years. In those five years Lacy led her competitive team to four National Championships, as well as hundreds of regional titles. In 2006 she decided to close F.A.C.E.S. and relocate to Mt. Juliet with RockStar Academy of Dance. In the seven short years that RockStar has been open, Lacy has led the competitive team to 7 National Championships, and multiple regional and state victories. She looks forward to beginning the eighth competitive season, and many more to come.
