Rise Above Floatation

This was my first time «floating» and I was pleasantly surprised. The décor, owner and ambiance were warm and relaxing. The floating room and pool was clean, well appointed and had thoughtful accents throughout. My float was amazing. I was extremely relaxed afterward and cannot wait to do it again. Thank you!

What an incredible experience! Rise Above is impeccably clean, with a warm, friendly vibe, lovely décor, and a super-​helpful staff. I loved my first experience so much that I immediately signed up for more and bought two gift cards so friends can float. Can’t wait to go back! Maybe then I’ll grab some of those chocolates and tea.

You are well cared for the minute you walk in the door, and you know it. The facilities are pristine and the float rooms are both lovely and awesome. What I did not understand before I was given my introductory tutorial is that the float session is totally within my control, from lighting to the status of the tank (open, closed, partly open, etc.), all of which is controlled from within the tank. There is even a panic button! And fresh water in a spray bottle is provided in case you manage to get salt in your eyes. You are also provided with ear plugs to keep the salt water out of your ears and Vaseline to protect any open cuts or raw cuticles from the salt. The shower is a nice overhead rain shower and the towels are clean, fluffy and absorbent. How wonderful!
I used the «womb room» and was thoroughly satisfied with my experience — it exceeded even my expectations. I will be back soon to enjoy a variety of float experiences because I have never felt as relaxed in my life as I did when I emerged from the tank. The hour passed too quickly — I was truly surprised when the light came on to signal that my session was at its end. I recommend this experience and this provider very highly.

Great place. Micah was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. Convenient location walking distance from train station and for people who drive, there is also parking. As to floating — I got to float in the big room, amazing experience. It was my first time at Rise Above Flotation and I will go back there again. I would recommend this place and floating to everyone — do it at least once. Thank you Micah!

My husband and I decided to try ‘floating’ last week on our day off from work and after reading about the experience, were hoping to have a unique and relaxing time at Rise Above Floatation. I called and spoke with the owner, Micah, asking him about 10 different questions about the process, who was more than happy to answer anything and everything that I had concerns about. We booked an appointment for the very next day and again, met Micah who was great! He took his time explaining the process to us both. We did not feel rushed at all. The facility was clean, decorated beautifully and felt extremely relaxing to be in. After our floating experience, we took our time enjoying complimentary tea and discussing our experiences with Micah. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone wanting a unique, relaxing and therapeutic time!

Stunning facility, inexpressibly unique experience… I especially appreciated being able to reflect on the time afterwards and converse with the owner. I’m sure the sensory deprivation side of floating may not be for everyone, but for us brave souls that daydream about what it’s like to be floating in space: TRY THIS. I’ll be back for sure!

I love this place!!! Friendly and knowledgable staff, I felt safe and well prepared for my first float. The lobby has an area for tea, coffee, notepads for post float relaxation. The prices are reasonable and the facility is very clean. The shampoo/​conditioner/​body wash/​lotion they have smells amazing. I already have an appointment for tomorrow. I have never been so relaxed in my life, this is a real treat to give to yourself and super fun!
