Our group had an excellent lunch today. The service is excellent. The servers are friendly and very attentive. The menu has a lot to offer. We had the Chicken Mista Salad, the special Lunch Wrap, Chicken Parmesan, and Crab Cakes. The servings are delicious and generous. There were multiple refills on coffee and tea. The room is sunny and quiet. We stayed for quite a while, enjoying for experience.

Not nearly as good as the original in briarcliff. Service was good but order came out wrong. My mothers grilled cheese came out without the bacon and the side of escarole was undercooked. My pancakes were ok. Nothing to rave about. I’d come again hopefully they will get their act together. Maybe they just haven’t gotten into their groove yet.

Food was mediocre (pork chop overcooked, fried calamari bland). Service good. This may sound like nitpicking but their house water was «no good, its brown» so they suggested we get bottled water and charged us $ 7 per bottle for still water. This is New York — if you din’t have decent tap water you shoukd provide bottled water gratis. I asked, they declined. We won’t be back…

First time visit was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, nice atmosphere on outside patio.

Dinner with five people, no one raving. One person was very happy with rigatoni with prosciutto in the sauce and fresh mozzarella, another had lasagna and sauce was «not so fresh» but herbs on top were. Flavor of veal was good, meat tender but not crispy exterior, said one. Service was friendly but spotty (dessert order mixed up), possible language difficulties. Salad fresh, fun cocktail menu. Ambiance was so-​so but we were there on a quiet night. Flan was outstanding; rare to get that carmelized candy layer on top.
Will have to try again sometime, maybe they’re too new. So many fine options in town though, they need to be super good to compete. (Oh and the hideous statue is still there!)
