I’m a wife, mother and business owner. I started working as a booth cleaner in a tanning salon in 1997 and after becoming manager a few months later I realized owning my own salon was what I wanted to do. Well, in 1999 that dream came true and a few years later I owned 6 salons! I started my own company, L.A. Bronze: Ultra-​Luxe Tanning Studios in 2009 after breaking away from the franchise we were part of for 10 years and we now have 9 locations in NJ, PA, and VA. I love this industry and the people who are a part of it.

Horrible! The main lay down beds have been out of use for over a month, however the keep saying they are going to be fixed. Rates are high and beds that care in use are old! Don’t waste your money. There are only so many times you keep looking fir the beds to be fixed and they aren’t, frustrating !

Do not get a mystic tan here !!! The person didn’t tell me what and what not to do before going in the booth and the light went out. I’m uneven and have orange around my wrists and hands. Apparently I wasn’t supposed to put lotion on my rough spots (I asked for lotion and I was given a bottle of it) she didn’t tell me the hand positions either. I spoke to someone the next day and she said «my girls uh». They don’t have exfoliator or anything to get rid of it.

This is the 5th time that I have shown up during business hours & it was closed. I called 856−273−8267 & there is no answer not answering machine to explain business hours or leave a message. The last time I came there was a note on the door saying, «Will return at 4pm» Since it was 10 minutes from 4 I decided to wait. At 4:17 a girl who barely looked 16 ran up with a huge brown bag & unlocked the door.
Every time I call there is no answer nor a way to get in touch with anyone. I researched a franchise management /​website /​headquarters & there is nothing. This business has ZERO accountability & absolutely no customer service.

Sarah and Kim provided amazing customer service! First time trying here read previous reviews, which are way off. They were very helpful and informative. Very clean and beds are legit. As a service member moving from place to place is hassle for finding a good place to tan. Definitely came across a gem here. Hours are great. Absolutely recommend this place.

if i could give no stars i would. i had been there numerous times and the bed had a light on it that said it was dirty. i went to the counter girl and asked her to clean it she told me that she had, so i had to clean the bed myself! after this happening once i eneded up with ringworm, i called to complain about the dirty beds and asked for a manager i was told she was on vacation and would call me back its been two months and ive heard nothing!

I’d rather roast in the sun than try to get past the gatekeeper at this LA Bronze’s location. A one star is for a front desk rep who made a poor attempt to sell me the most expensive tanning experience ever along with rolling eyes and ‘leave me alone’ attitude.
I wanted to love it here but the service stunk and I walked out the same shade I came in. Inside it’s nice and fancy with a chandelier and a luxurious purple theme shade for the décor. It is pretty.
When I walked in a sign caught my eye that was for $ 19.99 a month. I asked about it and was told, «Oh I don’t know, that’s online only. I think with Groupon and I think it’s expired.» Alright. You might want to know more about the GIANT sales pitch that EVERYONE sees right when they walk in.
I wanted to use the 42 booth for $ 9 but I was strongly urged that I would burn so instead I considered upgrading to the 52 booth for $ 15. Just when I was about to pay up I was told lotion is $ 5, no courteous lotion that most tanning places offer and I’d also need to buy eye goggles. I left, most other places are friendly and cheaper.
