Princeton Value Advisors is a Fee Only advisor founded by David Wertz, Ph.D. to provide financial advice to individuals. Dave combines 30 years of exceptional investment results with outstanding qualifications. For example, since 2000 his IRA’s are up over 400% while the market is up about 40%. In addition he passed all 3 CFA exams on the first try — only one in 10 who try succeed in doing this.

Dave uses a client centric approach to financial planning and investment advice. However, what sets him apart is his philosophy of Value Investing — a proven methodology that not only provides superior returns but reduces risk.

History

Established in 2007.

After 25 years of successfully investing for myself and my family (I have a letter from my mother’s and sister’s accountant attesting to my success) I decided to make investing and giving financial advice my profession. However, before offering my services to the public I first studied for, took and passed the comprehensive CFP exam and all 3 CFA exams. I am especially proud of passing the CFA exams because only 1 in 10 why try succeed.

Dave Wertz has been investing successfully for more than three decades. (See our stock results) Before becoming a professional financial advisor, Dave Wertz had an active career as a Ph.D. computational chemist, entrepreneur, and developer of knowledge-​based systems. After 25 years of successfully investing for himself and his parents he decided 8 years ago to devote himself full time to investment advising. Dave’s unorthodox path to financial advising gives him a unique perspective on the workings of market economics and equipped him with analytical skills that greatly enhance his ability to give sound financial advice to his clients. Dave’s IRAs are up 350% versus the market up about 40%.
