CrossFit is a general strength and conditioning program based on constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements that can be scaled to any level, while never allowing your mind or body to become comfortable. Each workout is a new chance to push yourself and improve your wellness as an athlete, and as a person. CrossFit will provide an answer to your fitness plateau, your limited ROM, your stale workouts, your lack of goals, and your directionless solo workouts.
Alternatively, our experienced personal training coaches provide one-on-one training for individuals that desire that extra focus and attention. We are prepared to coach anywhere from the beginning fundamentals to advanced training, thus allowing movement and goals to be at the proper pace to ensure success. History
Established in 2010.
We’re in the relationship business– not the fitness business. Foundation F.I.T. started six years ago in the garage of two passionate Certified Personal Trainers /CrossFit Coaches, Sylvia & Dan Darby. After 10+ years, they left the globo-gym world in an effort to connect with the community in a more meaningful way. Their client-base quickly exploded; they moved from their home to a facility on Whipple Road and started to craft a high-quality Coaching Team. After only one year, the business required further expansion and now is in a permanent facility on Wando Lane, just off Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant. All working hands strive to glorify God by sharing their talents of quality leadership in optimal fitness, thus empowering individuals & instilling health and hope within the Charleston community.

I have been active in the fitness industry for over 10 years and am extremely passionate about educating and inspiring others in their personal fitness journey. My initial background in fitness and health promotion is what motivated me to go back to school and pursue a degree in nursing. I strive to help others improve the whole physical body both inside and out. Fitness is represented on multiple levels not simply society’s portrayed perfect appearance. I have experience in working with men and women of all ages and fitness backgrounds. The key is to find that personal potential and push past it! I am not only driven to help individuals live their lives to the fullest, but families as a whole! I feel it is vital to teach others the importance of making time for your health.
