Our funeral home has been serving Henry County and surrounding communities since 1932. We are the funeral home of compassion, honesty and affordability.

History

Established in 1932.

The funeral home was first opened by R.K. Crane, with strong family roots tot he community and in 2005 it was purchased by Jeff Murphy of the Lockridge community and changing the name to Murphy Funeral Home.

Business Owner

Jeff Murphy is the owner of the Murphy Funeral Home and Monuments. He has owned the business since July of 2005. Jeff is an active member of the community and is a member of the Lockridge Baptist Church where serves as a deacon and church pianist, Lockridge Lions Club, Mt. Noon Rotary and the Masonic Lodge of Mt. Pleasant. Also member of the Iowa Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
