Next To New is a home furnishings consignment store located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina (just outside of Charleston, SC). Next To New features 5000 square feet of gently used, vintage and antique furniture as well as home accessories. We also carry a great selection of painted and distressed furniture and many one of a kind finds.

History

Established in 2010.

We are an upscale furniture and accessories consignment shop. We have expanded twice since then, now occupying almost 5,000 square feet of retail space. Voted the best consignment furniture shop in Mount Pleasant and the surrounding area, we have a constantly changing selection of beautiful home furnishings and décor.

I’m so delighted that I live only a few miles from this little neighborhood gem. This consignment store changes on a daily basis with much traffic every day, people consigning & buying household décor. The staff are great. I love checking out the deals.

Great consignment shop! They have a large selection of items, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and it is well organized. Their prices are a bit high for some consignment things, but it may just be the area it is in. I will certainly be back to purchase a few things once the price goes down (and if they’re still available!) I recommend stopping in if you’re looking for some home items.

Consignment shops are so hit or miss. I’m glad this one is a hit.
So much selection! So many deals! Every time I go in I have to buy something. I was really impressed that they have everything ranging from high end Persian rugs to comfortable couches. The quality of the items is great, even at the lower end. Everything from bottle opens, to picture frames is represented. Selection changes all the time, so make sure you visit often. The prices are great, which is nice for a furniture store on Mount Pleasant.
The staff is friendly and willing to work on prices (within reason).
