I cam to this salon to get my hair lightened from light brown with highlights to lighter blond. I came in with a bob. They fried my hair soon bad I came out with half of my hair, everyday my hair breaks off so much that my bangs are now barley touching my eyebrows. They were at the tip of my nose before I stepped foot into this rude salon. All the stylists were speaking a foreign language and made me feel very unfordable, needles to say I ended up spending $ 4,000 (no not a misprint) on extensions for my entire hair to save myself from embarrassment in public.

Rania was amazing and very easy to work with. I had a vision and she was able to create it during the trial. My hair stayed in place all day. Amanda and Rania were very organized and able to finish everyone on time.

After I read the reviews on Unilocal I decided to make an appointed and I am so glad I did. I am very impressed with this salon. Rania colored and cut my hair and it looks amazing! I will definitely be coming back.

Here is why… All of the sudden I realized that I wanted hair extensions, but I really knew nothing about them. So my friend recommended that I call Silvana Youkhana. Not only did Silvana Youkhana respond to my call right away, she also agreed to stay past her hours to meet and consult on what options I had. When I walked into the salon everyone greeted me warmly and Silvana Youkhana was ready to assist.
What made me fall in love with this place was the fact that there were a bunch of girls in the salon that had different types of hair extensions, and everyone welcomed the idea of letting me see and feel their extensions. This allowed me to make the right decision on what type of extensions I should get.
After choosing what kind of extensions I wanted, Silvana Youkhana and I took time to decide what color would be the right match for me. Note that during this time at no point did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. After choosing approximately what color I wanted Silvana Youkhana said she will work her magic to get me the right color, at the discussed price.
Lucky me, because I was at first told that it would take 2 weeks to get my extensions, but it really took less then 1 week. Before I knew it I was back at the salon, with Silvana Youkhana showing me how to wear my clip-​in extensions. Lets just say it was love at first sight, I absolutely love my extensions, especially after Silvana Youkhana took her time curling my hair.
Lets just say I would recommend this girl (Silvana Youkhana) to any one, for anything hair related. She is a true professional!!!

I just had the worst experience here with Rania. She was so unfriendly and rude. She rushed through my haircut in 7 minutes and the entire time she was yapping with 3 other hair stylists who all stood around my chair. It made me feel very uncomfortable. She was also very rough with my hair, pulling and tugging and pushing my head in the direction she wanted it to go. Rania is very unprofessional, I could not believe an owner of a business would treat their paying customers this way. I would NEVER go back to this place and NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I met my hair stylist on accident. I had scheduled an appointment with Rania, the first time. I was passed down to Silviana. She did my updo as close to perfect. She is very professional and straight forward, she will tell you if it will look right based on face frame and all. 2^nd time I went in I had Amanda who I constantly hear and read about, I don’t think we clicked on hair. I wasn’t happy with her work. On the next updo, I had Silviana and she made sure I was happy and extended communication during the updo. I am planning on going in to see her for a trim I’d like her to add layers and frame my face more.
I was recommended Ema for makeup and she is amazing. Her work is art, I never realized all the options you have for makeup. I would recommend Silviana and Ema. Ema threads brows and does a outstanding job.

It’s run by this infectiously incredible woman, Rania. She’s been 25 for as long as I can remember– and has a natural affinity for creating a look. She can whip up styles it never imagined, while holding a conversation, taking calls, and making recommendations all at the same time. It’s second nature to her– and equally impressive to watch her work. She’s a symphony of hairspray, shears and bobby pins. Whether it’s been color correction, a better cut, or just a fresh style, she knows how to take you out of your frump, and morph you into a Hollywood head-​turner.
It’s really why we come, isn’t it? To be reborn into the blonde bombshell we remember ourselves to be, regardless of how mismatched our eyebrows are. It’s one way we retake the world, our world, by storm.
I’ve had an opportunity to be worked on by many of the stylists, and not a single one didn’t deliver. Sylvanna is taking care off current problem, roots! My hair grows like a weed, which is equally a good thing, and bad. The bad, my blonde doesn’t stay blonde for very long, the good, my hair is healthy and there’s a bunch of it.
Sylvanna keeps me from going gold, which, in the Bible of Blonde, is a true virtue. The lighter my hair is, the more propensity it has to turn brassy, which is just…, well… Gross.
The facility is clean, they have snacks and beverages, and do nails, wax, threading and makeup.
So stop by, whether you call ahead (preferred) or not, you’ll be treated like family, you’ll pay a fair price, but above all, you’ll leave feeling as beautiful on the outside, as you are on the inside.

Best place around! I have been a «regular» at Studiano’s for about three years and I can only say good things about the salon. It is is a very comfortable and friendly setting. Silvana, my stylist, is amazing. She cuts, colors and styles my hair and it always looks fantastic. She switches up the style and color whenever I ask her for a new look. Silvana is fast, runs on time and makes everyone feel special. She also gives excellent advice! The prices are very fair. Amanda and Rania are great too. Amanda, who is a stylist is also a fantastic make-​up artist. Patricia and her sister who wash the hair give the best head massages around.

Everyone is professional and does exactly what you want and need! I go there for haircuts, updos and makeup for EVERY event and I’m given the best compliments during my events! Everyone is great and professional and they get you in on time and I love it. If I have any questions about how to take care of my hair, they help. If I need a trim or I want to cut a few inches, they do it and make my hair look healthy and tell me how to treat it. My makeup is done perfectly when I go and I look like someone in LA did my makeup. You can’t go wrong coming to Studianos.

OMG!!! this is place is a Gem! Been coming here for years!!! love all the stylists!! they are professional, stylish and have amazing customer service. very affordable. For every occasion including my wedding, bridal shower, and now baby shower –i am always leaving happy and looking beautiful!!! i have recommended this place to every person i know! AMANDA is phenominal at makeup and styling hair. The owner Rania is just beautiful and does the most amazing job at hair for any occasion. These ladies are just so talented. I dont recommend any other place!! stop in today .u will never leave unhappy. And any haters out there… find another place. you got it all wrong!!! See you there !!!

Brides beware! Committed to a appointment by putting a deposit down which apparently is non-​refundable. Keep in mind they never told me this. Went in for a hair trial only to get my actual hair burned by the owner of the salon. I spent an entire week frantically trying to find somebody else who is available for a very basic style for my wedding. I have had to go and get several conditioning treatment to try to repair some of the damage done by her styling tools. The salon is a nightmare if you’re going in for a trial I understand that you might actually spend more than two hours there because you will get shuffled around between other stylist while the owner is busy trying to upsell other customers her hair straightening keratin treatment.
Also apparently she has a lot of regular customers who don’t realize that she talks about them behind their backs. Come on, these people are your bread and butter and you’re going to talk poorly about them?
She use my hair extensions and they smell bad partially because they were new and partially because the styling tool she was using needed to be cleaned. While my mother wants to do my hair she noticed my actual hair was smoking a lot. And on several occasions my mother saw that she was dropping my extensions and walking all over them. My mom had to walk up from the waiting area ti pick them up and give them to her. No attention to detail. None whatsoever.
I have a feeling that a lot of these reviews are inflated by her stylists or their close friends and family members.
Tried to cancel my appointment 2 weeks in advance of my appointment. She wants to give me a gift card which she knows I won’t use because she burned my hair and could never send anybody there. Poor customer service.

I love this salon! My favorite hairstylist is Anna and I always get the nicest compliments on how natural my red hair looks. The salon is very clean and the staff are very professional.

Like most people I am extremely picky when it come to my hair! Some stylist get to scissor happy n others just can do the color right. Having gone to studianos by a recommendation from a good friend I fell IN LOVE! Rania fit me into her busy schedule last minute! I walked in with out grown roots uneven cut and beyond dry hair… her reaction to my hot mess of a head was priceless! She sat me down and said «no worries I can fix this» before I knew I had walked out with the perfect amount if highlights my hair didn’t seem any shorter than when I walked in and she did some awesome treatment! I was so thankful! A few months had gone by and i was still getting weekly compliments on my color! This salon as a whole is amazing! The staff is so friendly and down to earth! I haven’t had my make up done yet by Amanda but having gone several times and seeing results on friends she by talented! Ill for sure be using her! I highly recommend this place, I drive 45 minutes as is and I would drive further if I had to that’s how amazing they are!

I have had the same stylist for 13 years. I’ve been absolutely terrified to have anyone new do my hair. After asking around all of Chicago all I’ve heard over and over again is that Rania and Amanda are bar none THE BEST in the area in this industry. I took a leap of faith and went in– and shoved my fear down to the pit of my stomach to let the ladies work their magic.
I cannot speak enough to how impressed I am with the salon. How beautifully it is setup, the open design, spacious setup and how conducive to relaxation it is. Another thing that took me by surprise but also solidified my faith in the salon was that every. single. person. that walked in was genuinely happy to be there, from the stylists, receptionists, and wash girls all the way to the customers. Based on conversation from one other customer, it appears she’d give her right arm before being cut off from Rania’s style skill.
Now, with my personal experience I walked in and was welcomed by every stylist and the receptionist. I was given a good thorough wash with shampoo that smells like heaven and then Rania, my new favorite stylist began a split end treatment that I was desperately in need of. She then made miracles happen with a trim (I’m serious– I have the curliest, nappiest hair EVER and she made it look amazing and was the first stylist to be able to work with my texture and make everything look even and perfect) and a fantastic blowout. If I could give her a 10 out of 10 I would. After my hair was finished, Amanda grabbed her roll of thread and went to work on the caterpillars that I like to lie to myself and call eyebrows. It was like they spent the entire winter in cocoons and by the time she was done, my caterpillars came out of their hiding places and became these gorgeous butterflies.
I live a ways away from Studianos, but after today, I’m a convert. I have a new salon that I don’t think I’ll ever leave.

My colleague had a great cut, so I asked her where she gets it done. Rania at Studiano’s was her reply. I have been going there ever since. Great service and great haircuts. Worth the trip!

Studiano’s, the owner Rania and stylist Amanda are God’s gift to great looking hair! I was surprised to see this wasn’t any ordinary hair salon, It’s a full service beauty salon! You will leave feeling and looking like a million dollars! I had a horrible hair color, highlight, and blow dry experience with my previous salon. Studiano’s saved me from utter embarrassment before attending extremely important events. Studiano’s, Rania and Amanda are extremely professional, skilled, reasonably priced, and do amazing work! You will never go anywhere else once you try Studiano’s!
