Sweetgrass Vitamin & Health Market

Vitamins, nutrition and health markets aren’t something I’m overly familiar with, but they’re definitely something I’m open to getting into… even though at the newbie-​level it feels a bit like walking into Area 51 with all the strange, foreign, semi-​unidentifiable items available.
I felt like the selection of vitamins and food is pretty paired down, and even when they did have a shelf section set aside for a product, there was usually only one of that item. The woman working was really friendly and offered help if I needed it, though I didn’t really have anything I was looking for specifically.
The store had a steady stream of customers and actually got rather busy at one point. They had these neat aroma things for various ailments, one of which being menstrual-​related that I toyed with purchasing until I realized that all three of the varieties I was looking at were already sold out.
I saw a few moms come in with their young children, and the kids were all really excited to pick out their favorite foods from the freezer section in back. To me, the freezer seemed pretty barren, but apparently there’s some really great stuff in there that’s healthy and that kids like. I even overheard one of the moms talking to the shop woman about how they’d stopped in the last few times and they were out or very low on her kids’ favorite items, so she was excited that they had a wee surplus of the items to keep her kids happy. I don’t know exactly what the food was, but I don’t think it was a sweet as it seemed like they were by the savory section with pizzas and bread.
It’s definitely a neat little shop, but not the easiest to go into without a prior knowledge of what you’re looking to get. Definitely at least an intermediate to expert-​level health nut’s store, though the employees are more than happy help if you have questions or need assistance.

The store will order products for you and give a 10% discount on a case. Service is very friendly, and the gluten-​free pizzas and wraps are amazing.
