Ashalyn has lived in Mt. Shasta since 1988. She loves the area so much she created a business to highlight its beauty and this world-​renowned spiritual energy vortex. She and her guides all offer different areas of expertise to share the many aspects of the Mt. Shasta area with you. Personal and global healing and awareness is often included, as well as the healing power of nature.

Ashalyn, owner of Shasta Vortex Adventures and tour guide is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Shamanic Practitioner, spirit communicator, author, poet and visionary. She loves sharing the mystical energies of this powerful spiritual energy vortex. Tours include a guided meditation and info about the healing power of nature. Guided Vision Quests is similar are an 8-​hour intensive at sacred sites to work on personal issues to help you take your next step with greater clarity and courage.

Her Soul Communications Sessions & Soul Retrievals introduce you to the depths of your soul, help release dysfunctional fears, beliefs and blocks, retrieve lost power, courage, wisdom, energy and realign with Spirit. Ashalyn also publishes a biannual tabloid called, «Mountain Spirit Chronicles… to educate, entertain & enlighten those exploring the Mt. Shasta area.» She has a vision to create Ascension Heights Health Resort in Mt. Shasta.

Not To Be Missed!
Visiting Mt. Shasta wouldn’t have been as meaningful had I not gone on the vision quest with Ashalyn.
Ashalyn is an excellent guide who is very respectful of the mountain and our footprint. She provided the perfect balance between allowing me to have my own experiences and offering intuitive insights and guidance. I am grateful for the vision quest and the gifts and wisdom gained. Thank you, Ashalyn, for making this all possible.

I wish I had something positive to say about my one hour «Shamanic Healing» session with Ashalyn but unfortunately I do not. My experience started with me waking her from a nap for our scheduled reading. Then we begin the session which really was a guided meditation-​not a reading at all. Due to her recent nap she yawned throughout the entire hour and at times was very short and almost sarcastic. In addition coincidentally only 12 minutes of my session was taped. I asked for a refund because she was double the cost of other healer in town but I was told no. While she called me the wrong name. Totally complacent and unprofessional.

I had the most amazing experience with Ashalyn on the vision quest tour I took two weeks ago. She is knowledgeable about Mount Shasta and the surrounding area, very tuned in to the world around her, and an absolute joy to be around. She tailored the tour to my interests, including bird watching. I enjoyed every part of the tour and came back feeling more connected to the world and I had a better understanding of my own nature.
If anyone is interested in helping Ashalyn invest in her dream of an entire retreat center in Mount Shasta, I highly recommend you do it! I saw the location she is considering and it would be a truly amazing location. She is a visionary in every sense of the word.

Fantastic experience with Robin in the ice-​axe clinic. The skill-​set she left us with took us to the summit. We felt great about our climb even though it did get a little dicey and even though we were first timers. They provide an invaluable launching point for starting a mountaineering career! I’ll take it with me forever. Only extremely satisfied!

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience with Shasta Vortex. The owner, Ashalyn, has plans to eventually create an entire retreat center for those interested in experiencing the healing energy of Mount Shasta during an extended visit.
Ashalyn was an excellent guide, she is highly intuitive and knows the mountain and surrounding areas inside and out since she has lived there for 2 decades. She catered the tour to what our group needed, and she took the time to give personalized attention to each member of our group. We were on a tight budget, and she was able to work with us to make the tour within our price range.
If you are interested in experiencing the healing energies of Mount Shasta with tour guides who are experienced healers and who are dedicated to sharing their appreciation of Mount Shasta with others, definitely go with Shasta Vortex Adventures.
