Fantastic pizza and chicken cutlet parm hero with excellent service and good pricing = 5 stars. I’m from Brooklyn and I’m not ashamed to say we are def pizza snobs. Whether we are bragging about the water other states have shipped in to get the dough right or that we insist on real cheese that stretches it’s safe to safe Brooklyn people want good pizza or none at all. I got 2 slices which were large enough to be 3 in other places and a chicken parm hero to share with a friend. The owner cut fresh basil and a fresh red pepper for me– no charge he just thought I would like it based on our conversation. His wife came out and chatted with us(and argued with him lol) Beautiful couple, fantastic food and great service. The husband is right he cooks from his heart :) Growing up in Brooklyn and seeing places like this disappear I was glad to find it just because we needed to take a driving break. Def recommend!

I’m confused about the excellent rating, which is what brought me here one day for a slice. Maybe if you order a whole pie you will have a better outcome. I stopped in for a slice and it was one of the most bland and greasy slices I have ever tried. I used all of the spices they had available to try to give it some flavor. I actually left and threw it out without finishing it, which is a first for me. I ended up going around the corner to a different spot to pay for something more worth the calories. Maybe it just was old… but I would never go back.

Rude people. Cheap ingredients. Why go here when Joe’s Fleetwood is around the corner? This pizza is tasteless.

John & Tony’s has the best Pizza in Fleetwood. Slices are large, and have that sought after crispy snap when you bite in without being dry. The place has a few small tables if eating in is your thing, but I mostly take out. The walls are covered in family photos along with celebs and politicians vouching for the Pizzeria being the best. The sausage slice is my favorite.

The finest pizza in the area, and perhaps my favorite of all time. Everything else is good too, especially the calzones and the chicken parm. My family often gets part of our Christmas dinner from here.

The old Periello’s Pizza of Bronxville. John & Marie along with Tony, make an excellent pie. They are great people too. The hero’s and dinners are great too and you couldn’t make it at home for what they charge.

Really good pizza, we ordered the peperoni and just slightly burned on the bottom… just how we like it! Thin, chewy and not too much cheese. The reason we’re giving them 4 stars, they took an hour to find our house and were literally one I minute away. That aside, we will definitely use them for our pizza delivery:)

Great great pizza. Not a fancy, date night place by any means, but consistently solid pizza. I’ve probably been here over 20 times, and was very happy with the pizza nearly every single time. I’m a big plain slice fan, and this place does it very well. It’s a real Mom & Pop, and you’lll probably overhear an argument or two while in here, but it’s worth it for sure. TIP — eat there… I’m a firm believer that Pizza always always tastes way better right out of the oven, compared to waiting til the pizza gets home to eat it.

This is by far the best Pizza place in Fleetwood. I have lived in Fleetwood for the last ten years and tried all of the rest. This place is consistently better than any of the other Pizza places in Fleetwood.

A real mom and pop operations, and old country italian … On one occassion, my family and other customer, including owner got into a conversation about economics. I forgot the reason that had started it. On another occassion, I’ve had the opportunity to overhear them arguing, which was weirdly not awkward, and rather something that all families experience. Another neighborhood joint that have not lost it’s roots. Regarding food, their quality appears to be fresh and above the rest in the neighborhood. Customer service … you’re treated like an individual and they get to know you by name.

Got the number from a friend and have ordered from them a couple times, but since there’s no menu or contact info on the pizza box we never knew who they were, until we googled the phone # ! Good pizza, a little expensive but that seems typical of this area.

This was my favorite pizza place in Fleetwood/Mt. Vernon. Bravo! Great owners, a great pie. I haven’t been there in a while, but I would like to stop in and see if they are still going strong. As mentioned, it is primarily takeout. But you can eat there if you feel like talking with the owner, AKA, the«older Italian man».

This is a small Pizza restaurant about a half block off Gramatan in Fleetwood that is quaint and authentic. It has a very small number of tables but appears to be primarily take out. While I was in the process of ordering the pizza, an older Italian man began preparing the pizza right in front of me while still talking with me. He finished and got it in the oven before taking my money. This was great, both the process of interacting and seeing it being made and the fact that the pizza was cooking as fast as it possibly could be saved me just a few minutes. He was also interesting to talk with as he shared my strong preferences for thin crust pizzas and his thoughts about thick crust lovers were vastly more colorful and elaborated than my own. The pizza here was very good. The crust was thin but also nicely elastic. The cheese was good but the sauce was too bland. overall the great crust, the good cheese and the fair sauce combined to make a very good but not exceptional pizza. For me, the friendly atmosphere here was also great.
