We provide modern dentistry for your entire family, from toddlers to elderly. We provide evening hours and some weekend hours to accomodate our patients’ hectic schedules. Hughes Family Dentistry specializes in general dentistry including cleanings, resin (white) fillings, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, extractions, root canals, adult braces, and emergencies. We are the only local provider of Six Month Smiles, which is adult tooth-​colored braces with an average treatment time of 4 – 8 months. We strive to make every patient comfortable as comfortable as possible.

History

Established in 1978.

This practice has been serving the dental needs of Mount Washington, Kentucky for over 30 years. The business was operated by Dr. Ryan Noble, DMD until 2005. Dr. Karen Hughes, DMD took over at that point. We have recently moved in to a brand new, larger, state of the art office to keep up with the growing city and better serve our patients’ needs.

Dr. Karen Hughes, DMD graduated from the University of Louisville in 2001 with a bachelors degree in Biology. She then continued her eductation at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated in 2005. Dr. Hughes returned to her hometown of Mount Washington and took over the dental practice of Dr. Noble upon his retirement. Dr. Hughes has updated the office with modern technology and strives to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible.
