History

Established in 1975.

Rather than following in the footsteps of four generations of Spencers going into the old Spencer Law Firm in El Dorado, Arkansas, upon graduation from the School of Law at Fayetteville, Arkansas, Rick took his wife and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas to begin his own law practice. He was attracted to the beauty of the Ozark Mountains and the clean and pristine beauty that surrounded the small community of Mountain Home, Arkansas. And his independent spirit demanded that he own and operate his own law firm in his own way. Since moving there as the twelfth lawyer, the town has exploaded in population and growth and many people have moved into the area. Mr. Spencer has refused to handle any claims for insurance companies and banks and large institutions perferring rather to represent the injured workers and citizens of Arkansas and Missouri. Rick has been a featured speaker and author in many legal fields and has 12 paralegals, secretaries, lawyers and investigators working for him

Frederick S. «Rick» Spencer was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, on May 28, 1947. Rick went through High School and after graduation immediately went to the University of Arkansas obtaining a BSBA degree and then a Juris Doctorate degree from the U of A School of Law December, 1974. He has represented thousands of claimants over the years from his offices in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with many six and seven figure recoveries for his clients. He has an excellent staff of twelve paralegal, secretaries, lawyers and accountants. He is a DiveMaster Scuba diver, a Razorback letterman, and loves to play the acoustic guitar, ride horses, He has traveled extensively speaking over one hundred times at many national and state legal seminars to other lawyers on many subjects and has authored many legal articles in both state and national magazines for lawyers. He has received «Who’s Who» recognition approximately ten times and the recipient of many awards in recognition of his successes.
