Don’t use this service! They take advantage of people in urgent situations.
I was in Palo Alto for work and had to make an urgent trip to the hospital. I’m visibly pregnant and was clearly in distress from having early labor contractions. The driver refused to turn on the meter and charged me $ 15 for 1.6 miles. This was after he made me enter the address into his gps because he didn’t know where he was going– less than 2 miles away at Stanford Hospital. Had I been in a non-​urgent situation, I would have gotten out of the car right then.
Horrible company.

On Sept 5^th I e-​mailed this cab co for a reservation for 8 Am on Sept 6^th to the SJ Airport, later that evening I received a call confirming my reservation. On the 6^th at 8:07 Am I called dispatch to find out when the car would be coming because my flight was at 9:30Am. «I’ll call you back in 5 min „8 min later gardeep the dispatcher called back.“ the car will be there in 10 min» At 8:33Am the driver Nick showed up. I wanted to scream at him till I found out that the same dispatcher told him to come and get me.(he was stationed at the airport) and had just gotten the call. 9:06 I arrived at the air port. I was the last person to board the plane. I never want to rush like that again so, I will never use that cab co again. Thanks to Nick for getting me there thru rush hour traffic.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE — THEY ARE CROOKS! I called the cab # to prepay for a colleague who needed to travel — the cab company showed up late, and my co worker ended up taking another cab. The company charged me $ 85 for doing nothing. When I called to complain the rude driver 408 677 8354 said «ha ha you gave me your card number» — there is nothing you can do.
They are crooks and charged me for a service I never used. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!

I was in charge of transportation for a group of international scholars from their hotel to a private dinner at a fellow scholar’s home 10 minutes away. When I called A1, I was troubled by the guy’s thick accent and quick «ok ok it fine» but I let it slide. I decided to confirm two more times that week and was assured that the scholars would be picked up at 5pm and again at 8pm and taken back to the hotel. I get a call from a cabbie at 5:30pm who tells me he is 10 minutes away. He didn’t seem to be bothered by the fact that the scholars were supposed to be picked up at 5:00. I had a bad feeling about the 8pm pick up, so I called the company and they DENIED THAT I EVER MADE A RESERVATION… as I said before, I called 3 times that week. The scholars had to find their own way home (many non English speakers) and I looked like a complete idiot. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are unprofessional, can’t understand English, and refuse to accept responsibility for their inexcusable actions. Horrible.

Twice now I have relied upon this company, and both times their cabs did not show up. The first time, I was left standing in the rain on El Camino after I was promised a pickup in 10 minutes. The cab called me 40 min late asking me if I still needed a ride. The next time, I was left stranded at an early morning airport pickup. Also, Holly A’s positive review is almost certainly a fake. Do not use this company.

I called this cab looking for a short ride from Palo Alto to Mountain View and was pleasantly surprised at the immediate response and availability.
The cab driver came on time as promised, but that is where the excellent service stopped. He pulled the classic «slow cab» trick and travelled at a pace that could only be rivaled by walking. Then I realized I didnt have any cash on me and asked him to drop me off at an ATM and stop the meter since I would walk home from there. I got back from the ATM only to find that the meter was still running and that my bill had grown from $ 12 to $ 18.10
Cabbie also cooly handed me $ 1 in change for $ 20 giving himself the tip instead of letting me decide.
I would not recommend this cab service to anyone, especially not cab #19, but if you use their services, keep an eye out for these underhanded tactics.

AVOID AT ALL COST!
Driver spoke no English and didn’t even know how to get to downtown San Jose!
Caused great stress and made me late for a court date.
Charge to get to downtown San Jose was $ 20 more than comparable cab companies.
AVOID AT ALL COST!

Compared to Checkered & Yellow Cab companies, A1 showed up on time, treated us with great courtesy. Clean and reliable cabs. I highly recommend them.
