Dr. M. Dwight Chen is one special doctor. I highly recommend him for anyone who requires a GYN Oncologist (Cancer doctor). As the others on this site have said, he is compassionate, knowledgeable, skillful and takes the time to explain in detail your specific case. I had surgery for uterine cancer and cannot be more pleased with the outcome. The entire office staff and his Nurse Practitioner and PA are also all first class. Very helpful and friendly. I love that you can contact them online and they do respond in a timely fashion. Excellent.

I love Dr. Chen!!! This man really knows gyno-​oncology. I became very familiar with him over a period of about two years, as he performed four necessary surgeries related to my uterine cancer. He was always available to answer any questions I had, and spent dedicated, quality time to speak with me, both in his office and over the phone, about any issues of concern that arose. He has a relaxed, friendly manner, and a great sense of humor, but is no nonsense when it comes to his surgical skills and patient care. As I was being prepped for one of my operations, one of the surgical nurses that was in my OR told me that hands down he was the best, and if she ever had cancer, he’d be the doctor she’d see immediately (very reassuring at that time to hear). His staff is very friendly and delightful, in sometimes the darkest of circumstances. I cannot recommend Dr. Chen highly enough!

My regular gynecologist referred me to Dr. Chen to get his expert opinion regarding an irregularity she found during my yearly exam. Though being sent to an oncologist was rather unnerving, Dr. Chen and his staff actually made it a pleasant experience. Everyone I came into contact with — from scheduling my appointment, to having my vitals taken — was kind, friendly and professional. Additionally, Dr. Chen is a very warm and caring person. He examined me, explained his findings and answered all of my questions, not seeming hurried like many other doctors I’ve visited. I also appreciated that he called the doctor who referred me, while I waited in the examination room, and had a discussion with her regarding my case, then came back in and filled me in on the approach they decided upon. I actually didn’t have to wait days for him to make the call and then get back to me, which was so nice! I highly recommend Dr. Chen and his fabulous staff to anyone who might need their services!

Dr. Chen is the only gynecologic oncologist I want to see. I come back from Florida specifically so that I can keep seeing Dr. Chen as my doctor. He is the absolute best — so dedicated and caring as well as skillful. He turned what is usually a terrifying event into simple steps to treatment and recovery.
His staff is also fabulous — Carol, Eva and Bella are kind and supportive; you are a valued individual instead of one of the faceless masses. I wish everyone in the world could have the quality of treatment that Dr. Chen and staff provide.

Dr. Chen is technical and an artist in the gyno onc field. He used the latest technology DaVinci robot to do my hysterectomy. Almost immediately post surgery I felt better and lighter minus all prior pelvic and back pain. He is very pleasant, has a sunny personality and is easy to talk to. His staff is very kind and responsive as well.

Dr. M. Dwight Chen is fantastic! If you ever hear the word «cancer» in a gynecological sense, Dr. Chen is who you want as your oncologist. He takes the time to explain your case and the options in a very humane way, and helps you understand what is happening at all times. He truly cares about his patients.
The office staff is very professional, while also taking an interest in you as a person, not just a patient (special thanks to Carol and Bella!).
