History

Established in 2013.

Two independent Entrepreneurs got tired and lonely working at home by themselves, until they decided to open up a co-​working office to bring people together to create a more social and motivating work environment.

Design Spaces is a great space. It is very modern and well-​designed. Yana and Yaro (the founders) really care about the place and always try to improve it. They also try to make the social experience better for the members (Friday lunches, parties, etc.) You will meet cool and friendly people. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a space to study, work or launch a company. And on top of all that, the prices are very reasonable.

I absolutely love my time here at DesignSpaces. The space is clean, modern, with just the right amount of punchy flair to drive my inspiration while working on projects. The atmosphere is above all, professional, but the environment is friendly and interactive. I love the common spaces, especially in the atrium area, with all the live plants and different seating options. This level of detail is wonderful for an office space, and should be the standard for a workplace! I am able to get so much work done, which is rare when I am working at home. I’m glad that I have a home away from home to be productive!

Design Spaces has definitely exceeded my expectations for a coworking space. If you’re like me and thought you could save a few dollars working from home or the library, you don’t know what you’re missing.
Design Spaces is first and foremost a beautiful space with very welcoming and passionate people. The on-​site kitchen and restrooms (with showers) make it a comfortable place to spend several hours hard at work. As well, all of my interactions with Yana (one of the owners) have been enjoyable. She’s super nice and clearly cared about delivering great customer service, which is very important to me.
All in all, I notice that I’m much more productive being back in a «work» environment. The atmosphere and the people make it exceptional.

DesignSpaces is my favorite co-​working space in Silicon Valley. It’s clear that Yana and Yaro both care about helping members find the professional inspiration they need in order to make their start-​ups succeed. Everyone is always so nice, and I find it invigorating to know that there are so many people who are turning their dreams into realities here. I’ve tried working from home in the past, but there’s just no reason to when there’s a supportive environment so close to me.
Bottom Line: It’s hard not to feel motivated when surrounded by other hard-​working people, and to that end having a place like DesignSpaces to work out of pays for itself.

In the short few weeks that I have been here, I have found Design Spaces to be an optimal working place. It is impeccably designed with an eye towards a detailed, sophisticated aesthetic; creates a space that encourages productivity and professionalism around your business needs; and fosters a community of start-​up professionals, creatives, and students who can share camaraderie and ideas. There are numerous perks, such as the weekly catered Friday lunches. What’s more, the two co-​founders are good people who are easy to work with and will listen to you, and that dynamic significantly enhances the quality of the environment. It doesn’t get any better than this – you will WANT to work here!

Really awesome. I’ve been working there for a few months and I love it. Not only is the space beautiful, Yana and Yaro also go above and beyond for everything else.
For example, I love using this big monitor but it is a big pain to carry around with me. I asked Yana and Yaro if I could leave the monitor in the space even though I only have a flex membership with no designated desk. They thought about it and created a small storage space for anyone to store their monitors while they are away. Now any member can use it. I couldn’t be happier.
That is just one example. Ask any other member and they’ll tell you about something else which worked out great for them.
I’m pretty sure you’ll love it at Design Spaces.

This is not only a great place to work at but also a great community to join. The interior is well-​designed and clean. The facilities are modern and easy to use. People here are friendly and nice. What’s more, Friday lunch is a wonderful time to get together with members.

Best workspace… period. The team is so committed to providing the best experience to their clients. The location is convenient, we interact with other start up companies, great vibe and not to mention, we are fed on Fridays!
Team encourages socializing and hosts parties through the year, recognizes birthdays & milestones of individuals/​companies that work in this office.
Hidden gem in Silicon Valley for sure… love to work at Design Spaces :)

DesignSpaces is a really well-​designed and comfortable place to work at. I have been here since the first day everyone moved here and its been a really joyful experience. I enjoy working here, talking to all the friendly and smart people, the weather… etc. Yana and Yaro really did a great job on DesignSpaces for people to both work and chill. You can find everything you need here and more importantly, you will find working is more fun and joyful.
