Wow. I just got home from Urgent Care, with my first thought being to write a glowing review for Dr. Nguyen. I needed a Tetanus shot, and have done everything in my power to avoid doctors for about 10 years. I was of course feeling very anxious about it, but this sweet woman turned it all around. Her personable approach was so soothing and all throughout the visit, we were chatting like girlfriends. I’m going to look into seeing her as my primary care doctor. Simply ADORE her.

PAMF Urgent Care Clinic was so helpful! I wish I could see them as my GP. I came in the morning, sat for 10 minutes, and they called me in! The receptionist was so understanding! The MA was so informative and pleasant! Dr. Nguyen was so thorough and so kind! The RN only took one pick to start my IV! The LVN was very attentive! And check out was virtually pain free! =)
I’ve been experiencing some strange symptoms that my body was not used to these past few days. All in all, a most definite positive experience with Dr. Nguyen’s care!

I might be an exception, but we saw this doctor once in urgent care. I was having 102 fever and was in quite some distress. She ordered me to get my X-​rays done and come back after 2 days. But she did not give me any medicine for fever. 2 days later, she saw the X-​ray of mine (current) and one more about 5 years back. Then she asked me «Do you notice anything different?». Really? Ask a non-​medical person ?
My family physician saw me later that week. He started off with antibiotics to bring my fever down. Even he was surprised!

Dr. Nguyen has made urgent care everything you never thought it could be. Although it was a Thursday evening, she didn’t make me feel rushed at ALL. She answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, making sure I didn’t leave without getting a full explanation. She also exhibited a lot of empathy — something that not all doctors practice, especially in an urgent care setting. This makes a world of difference, and I feel very lucky that I got to see her.
It is awesome that such a wonderful doctor is available at Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF)‘s Mountain View Center. Thank you to Dr. Nguyen for making it such a pleasant and painless experience!
