It’s Fine not my favorite. I mean it isn’t that bad, just suspicious got sick 8 hours after this meal I don’t know. five guys buns are the best part.

I can’t go here without trying to picture the old Country Gourmet that used to inhabit this barn. It’s been there so long, was it ever a real barn? Or fruit stand perhaps? Kinda pricey, call counter doesn’t face most of the seating, the extra aisle of tables is always colder(and the metal seats don’t help). But once you’ve been distracted by cracking peanuts for 5 minutes, your number is called, and the ridiculously tasty burger and fries will make you lose yourself in a heaven of greasy, salty American style lunchtime indulgence.

Food is good, but this review is mainly for customer service. We’ve been there several times and staff is friendly, restaurant was clean and when I made a mistake with my order, they fixed it with no extra charge.

Super nice staff who work hard. I love that I can see my food being made — it reassures me of a higher level of quality than a closed kitchen where customers can’t see what’s going on with their food prep. Their fries tend to be too soft for me, so I requested them be crispy, and they delivered without complaint. I will hold my stance that their fries are better than In-n-Out. Hands down. Plus, I got to add whatever toppings I wanted to my grilled cheese, to give it some glam. Onions, mushrooms, tomato, yums. Oh, and they upgraded their fountain machines to those ones that have a gazillion soda flavors. Pretty nice swag.

I live this location as there is lots of parking. The restaurant is super clean. I love the Coke soda machine with all the different options to drink. The peanuts distract from the waiting for your food. I think the price point is 20% too high though!

I received an email from the manager of this restaurant, apologizing, saying she will make sure her employees are trained better, and offering me a free meal. That’s nice and everything, but it misses the point. I don’t want free food because I was the B who complained, I wanted fresh fries – as the website promised – when I ordered my meal the first time. And that didn’t happen. My rating stands.

Very convenient to me off of El Camino in Mountain View. The parking is a little tough especially on the weekends. Inside it was super clean and the staff was very friendly. When you walk in there is a large menu that was very visable and convenient. I am kind of a pain in the ass because I ask for everything on my burger but the cashier was very patient and nice. It was very busy however I didn’t wait long and it was ready before I knew it. One of the cooks that gave me my food asked if I needed help with bringing my food to my car. The trash recepticles were empty and clean which was surprising since it was so busy, and the ketchup and peanut area which are a mess at others places was neat here. I had the cheeseburgers with cajun style fries which I never do but was recommended to me was ok. The cheeseburger was great and super juicy like they normally are. However the cajun fries had way too much seasoning and would have been tolerable with less, but the burger was great. Price was also not bad at all, the norm at Five Guys. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

We went to a 5 guys in So-Cal and was not impressed. Saw the one here and my husband wanted to give them another try and I am glad we did. I had just a regular burger and fries and my husband had the double bacon cheese burger. The burger was so thick it was hard to fit it all in with one bite. The meat was perfect, the bun soft, and thd lettuce tomato and all that stuff fresh. Between thd burger and fries, it’s a big meal. The fries were freshly cut and made. I am not a big fan of those type if fries, but they were good. They also have one of those coke machines with all the flavor choices. I am glad we gave 5 guys another chance.

Decent food, clean restaurant interior, and fast service. Regarding the cashier, she seemed as if she was counting down the minutes until she could go home. I ordered cajun style fries and a bacon cheeseburger with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and ketchup. First, they forgot to add ketchup. Second, the meat patty was very juicy and well prepared, while the vegetables were very fresh. Third, the fries were the best part of the meal, as they were warm, fluffy, and packed full of flavor. The price for the food is a little more than the other premium hamburger chains in the area, so that’s probably why I don’t eat here much. Also, this location could use an upgrade in customer service, as you aren’t greeted when you enter the restaurant, nor are you thanked when you leave the restaurant.

Don’t come here if you have a gift card. Cause they’ll say you don’t have an amount on it. I tried to pay with a brand new gift card and they told me I had zero balance on it, so I called the number on back and the phone line said I had $ 25 on it. So I go back up to the register and ask them to check the balance and they said it has $ 25. So people at this store need to learn how to operate a cash register.

What a difference ½ a year makes! To say this location has gone ‘on the skids’ is putting it mildly. My GF and I have been pretty regular customers at this location and that is probably at an end. The last two times we have visited this location have been pretty ‘dead times’ and since we pay seperately our orders are placed about 45 seconds to one minute apart, yet my burger has come up 10+ minutes after hers each of these last two times! This means her burger is cold when we get home. To top it off this last time her burger had completely the WRONG toppings on it from what she ordered!(good thing she doesn’t have a food allergy) Fries were soggy and not fully cooked… With 5 or 6 kids behind the counter how can there not be cooked fries??? Sorry it had to end this way 5 guys, but the service here sucks… We won’t be back anymore!

Solid experience with veggie cheese sandwich at Five Guys. It includes green peppers, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato and regular onion. The green peppers and mushrooms were a great addition to the sandwich. Cajun fries were delicious and I devoured them. Would come again but way too expensive for all of this($ 11 including drink) considering its fast food. Would come again if I had to, but would avoid the drink and share fries too make it affordable.

Meant to do this a while ago, but since my last review, they’ve stepped their game up and do an excellent job the way Five Guys should be. I still think the one in Sunnyvale does food better, I can’t really give a good reason why, I just feel like they don’t skimp as much on the toppings I guess. But overall, it’s a great location. Cheers!

For science, we did a head-head burger challenge. Challengers: 5 Guys(5G) In N’ Out(INO) Submission: 5G: Double cheeseburger with grilled onions, mushrooms. INO: Double Double with cheese, animal style Results: 5G: Better, fluffier bun. Meat patties larger by at least 25%. The whole thing tasted fresher and less processed. INO: Solid taste but bun tasted processed. The whole thing kinda mashes together. Little bit of a mess. But that’s part of its charm. Conclusions: Extremely surprising win for 5G. Soft spot in my heart for INO considering all the late night runs in the younger days. Didn’t think anybody could hold a candle to that masterpiece — the Double Double. But 5G was legitimately better. Enjoyed eating it much, much more. Also, this meal was more than enough for(2) adults. Side Experiment: Fries ranking 1. INO Fries 2. 5G Cajun Fries 3. 5G Regular Fries 5G fries have waaay too much salt. Also, they’re way thicker, softer, and have less texture. === tldr; No joke — Five Guys makes a better burger than In N’ Out. Fries are better at In N’ Out though.

Five Guys isn’t my go-to burger shop, and it won’t be anytime soon. I was skeptical to try it until couple days ago. I am still not impress by it. They have a gimmick which is that peanut sitting in the middle of the order area. The burgers here aren’t cheap. $ 6 for a regular cheeseburger with their so call all you can choose toppings, but they aren’t that impressive. Be prepare to spend $ 10 for the whole burger fries and drink.

I love this place for ease of access and great burgers. They let you review your order and I’d recommend that especially on larger orders. Put some jalapeños on your burger if you are feeling adventurous. I tried it a while ago and have not ever forgotten to add them on.

Love their burgers. All the way minus the mushrooms is perfect for me. Fries are good. What more can I say? I am a cheeseburger whore, and 5 Guys satisfies.

I use to not love five guys but I had a change of heart and it’s definitely one of the burgers I crave now. The quality of the meat at five guys is very good for a fast food burger joint and it’s a bit juicy too! If you’re eating for one person, I recommend getting a «little» size burger because you’re going to want to get some cajun fries with it because they are ridiculously delicious. The regular size burger would limit the chances of you being able to finish your fries and that would be a sin to waste! Personally I always order this: little bacon cheeseburger mayo lettuce grilled onions grilled mushrooms grilled jalapenos(yes you can get this grilled although it doesn’t say on menu) bbq sauce I pretty much try to make a western bacon cheeseburger and this creation does a pretty good job of it. I think when I started making this type of burger I started enjoying five guys way more because when you add everything to a hamburger here then it starts to get overwhelming and messy with too many ingredients which makes it a less enjoyable experience. Don’t forget to get cajun fries! You won’t regret it. ps. nice thing about this location is they have the advanced soda machine where you can choose many different kinds of sodas and syrups
