I don’t think I would have been as successful as I have been without the help of Agnes! I absolutely hate writing, but she made it all seem so doable. With her help, I was able to receive college acceptances, including Oberlin College and Wesleyan College. When looking for summer experiences during college, I always found it difficult to sell myself to research or internship opportunities by writing cover letters and personal statements. My applications were so successful I was able to spend a summer at Texas A&M University doing a research problem and later accept an internship at Amazon. The detail of the edits were wonderful; although at times the number of corrections were overwhelming, it shows that she really reads through each draft. One small detail I especially appreciated was that she let me know that she had received the most recent edit and when she would be able to take a look at it. I really recommend this service for any application needs!

What a great experience! I worked with Agnes to revise my resume. The communication between us was through email, and at first I didn’t see how well that would work. Tilia and Agnes volunteered as advisers for a group of San Jose State undergraduate students considering graduate school. They provided students with a better perspective of what opportunities are available and a more in-​depth understanding of the application process. This review is L-​O-​N-​G overdue. Three months ago Sui-​Seng helped me write my personal statement for my college application.
With Sui-Seng’s help I was able to develop a really powerful essay, that was 100% from the heart, completely mine, and ultimately got me accepted into the university program I applied to.

It was time for me to update my nursing resume and biggest thing I hate is writing. I’m a horrible writer. I needed some professional help. With Agnes’ English skills and Sui Seng’s medical background, they combined forces and knew exactly what I needed. When I received my first revision, it appeared overwhelming with all the corrections but the notations and suggestions were very useful. It shows they took their time to read each line. Their response time is great too.
Agnes suggested that I write a cover letter to increase my chances of getting an interview. Of course I wasn’t sure where to start. She took the time to write a long email of an example and structure that was tailored to my profession.

I was having a bit of trouble with my resume and cover letters for my internship applications when I went to Tilia for her help with them. Although I would be charged on a per essay basis, but with just an additional small fee — this personal profile review /​strategy session gave me invaluable insights and a sense of direction. This is an important step made affordable before one launches into essay writing. I would recommend people to do so first.
2) feedback on and beyond the essays — Tilia commented on my essays and resume — every word and every line, promptly. She refrains from forcing in her points/​word choices but instead, she has a knack of putting forth comments/​notes that spur me to reflect deeper. It is extremely critical and fulfilling to having an essay that is still yours and truly speaks of who you are at the end of the day. On top of that, she responds to all my questions (big and small) on all things related to b-​school admission. Banking on her knowledge and advice has allowed me to put together a successful application.
3) affordable but still top quality — Although you only pay for what you need (i.e. charges per essay review), Tilia would still go all out rooting for you in every sense — giving you sound advice, mock interviews whilst working with your timing/​preferences. At a fraction of a cost compared to engaging established admission consultants, she’s very dedicated and her drive for perfection compelled me to aim higher!
