Michael’s Moving Help

If I could give zero stars here, I would. I used Michael and Dwight in 2012 and they did a good job. We recommended them to several families and used them again recently. It was dark by the time they were done so we didn’t notice until the next day that nearly every corner of our new sectional leather couch had been torn on the stucco, our glass table had scratches etched into it and our bed frame and bedside table were scratched as well. I called Dwight and asked only that they do something about the damage to the couch. He assured me he would talk to Michael and call me back the next day with the plan. After hearing nothing back for a week, I texted him and received a text back saying that it was our fault for not providing them with blankets, which they wouldn’t have used anyways to get the couch down the stairs, and that all we hired them for was to move the items from point A to point B. I asked if they planned to do anything about the damage and got no reply. It has now been 2 months and I have heard nothing. If you’re thinking about hiring movers, I suggest you hire ones that can not only move your things from Point A to Point B, but do so without scratching your furniture, as that is what you are paying them for. Had they done the damage and then handled it respectfully and appropriately, I would continue to recommend them but the rude, immature, and unprofessional manner in which they «dealt» with the damage they caused was incredibly disappointing, especially considering we are repeat customers that have recommended them out to several other families.

I asked Michele for my moving. Many big furnitures need upstairs, they did a great works. He has a peace heart for the hard work, devoted himself into the working. choose him, you got right thing.

2-​years after I first used Michael and Dwight… I still have those guys on speed dial. Last week they moved us again and it was a breeze. Moving is sooo stressful, but I have no worries putting my home and stuff in their hands — seriously I’d give more stars if I could!

We are first time movers and had the best experience moving with Michael and Dwight last weekend. They came and did a pre– moving inventory which really helped negotiate a price. They were friendly, punctual, hardworking and took extra care to move and assemble all our furniture, especially the fragile stuff in some really bad weather. We Would definitely recommend them for moving.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I had to give a shout out to Mike. Mike is a fantastic mover! I’ve moved around quite a bit as a student and grad student, and never have I had such a considerate moving specialist. Mike is was an absolute professional from beginning to end when he moved my things from Berkeley to Mountain View. Everything arrived safe and sound… what a relief! I know I’ll be using him again in the future.

Mike moved me from Berkeley to Mountain View and it was great. He managed to Tetris-​in all my furniture into his one truck and we only had to make one trip. He is cheerful and super-​easy going but still worked amazingly fast. I was expecting the move to take all day, but he cut that time practically in half. I have moved a gazillion times since 18, so I know movers – Mike is the real deal. Friendly, honest, smart, and reliable… really couldn’t get better than that! You rock:)
