What could have ruined our Halloween instead made for a (believe it or not) enjoyable experience. Josue promptly answered my call at 7 am on this Halloween Saturday and then very promptly arrived for the appointment, diagnosed the clogged kitchen drain and set about to unclog it finishing in 30 minutes. Josue is personable and professional, knows what he’s doing and gave advice on how to use/​not use my kitchen disposal to prevent further clogs and gave a «you might want to think about» suggestion to install a drain out from the kitchen to prevent indoor flooding as had happened. No pressure, not even a suggestion that he could put it in for me (which he told me he could do the work once I asked). He left the area very clean as well. I received a very reasonable charge for his services. I’ll hire him again in an instant next time I need a plumber.

We had what we thought was a clogged utility sink. Called them at 3.30 pm and they were at our place attending to the problem less than an hour later. The plumber diagnosed the problem, snaked the pipe to ensure there was no blockage and explained what was going on. He then gave us a longer term solution which I said I would look into. He never pushed for us to take up his recommendation which I appreciated. Highly recommended for speedy service, honesty and just being pleasant to work with.

We had a toilet overflow at 10 in the night. In 15 minutes it was clear that this is a job for a professional. Ranger Rooter was the 2^{nd 24}⁄₇ plumbing service we called. They reassured me on the phone and gave an ETA of an hour. Within an hour Josue came to my door. He was polite and courteous. It was a tough job because my clean out cap wasn’t opening easily. Josue didn’t get frustrated. He tried various methods one by one, explaining things along the way. He finally broke off the cap after putting in herculean efforts into the task! He had all the equipments needed for the job. Finally around 2:30am he found and cleaned the clog which was deep into the main line. Kudos to Josue for working diligently on it through the night while remaining respectful and courteous.
The cost was reasonable considering the amount of effort put into it and the late hour. I’d highly recommend them!

Best plumbing experience I’ve ever had. I had major flooding in the kitchen and the laundry room due to a backed up pipe. I called Ranger Rooter who not only answered the phone right away and was friendly, but had someone at my house within 45 min as stated.
Josue came by, gave me a reasonable price and took care of the problem within about 30 min. My receipt was emailed before he even left the driveway. I would recommend Ranger Rooter in a heartbeat.

Perfect. Call to Ranger Rooter was answered with 1 hour appointment window scheduled for same morning! Josue came on time, was professional and very polite. I have had Josue come fix our clogged pipes twice in the past year — once for kitchen and once for toilet. The experience has been great. I called and left a message. He called back in 10 min. Scheduled time. Showed up within the window provided. Fixed my problem in an hour. While he is at my house. He was very polite and had a very good attitude. He answered all my questions and was very careful about keeping my yard/​house clean. Price is very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Josue.

We had a bad shower drain problem — tried everything e.g. drano and snake, but nothing worked.
I called Josue at 8:52am. He called back at 8:53. Came in at 11:00am. Fixed it in 30min.
Price was great, service and responsiveness were excellent, and Josue’s attitude and professionalism were top notch.
Finally we can take a shower, not a bath!

We had a back up in our plumbing due to tree roots. I called another well Unilocal-​rated Roter Rooter company first. We had used this previous company about 2 ½ years ago. They charged $ 225 then. I asked how much it would cost now and they quoted over the phone $ 225-​$ 300. When the guy arrived, he said it would cost $ 400 now since it required 2 men to move the equipment around. We said no thank you and called Ranger Rooter. They were here within 1 ½ hour of my call, did a great job, and charged $ 155!!! No complaints and guess who I’m calling next time!

After leaving an unanswered voice mail with another plumber I’d used in the past I called Ranger Rooter on a Saturday afternoon. Josue Chicon responded quickly and said he could be there in 90 minutes. He showed up less than an hour later, quickly got to work and cleared my sewer line within 20 minutes. Money well spent and he applied a discount coupon that I didn’t even know existed, let alone have in my possession. Thoroughly professional and friendly fellow. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again (though I hope I never need to).

been living in my apartment for over two years now and had issues with the shower drain ever since. after waiting over 5 days for my manager to fix the issue I decided to search elsewhere so that I could finally take a shower! I was referred to this company by a family member and when I called and explained my dire situation I was able to (THANKFULLY) get some same day assistance! Josue was very professional and its been over a month and I haven’t had any issues with the drain since! He was able to fix the problem pretty quick and the price was very reasonable although I went ahead and forwarded that to my apartment manager!!! Thank you so much Ranger Rooter I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again in the future!

did a fine job at my fathers house — he could have charged us a lot more by selling us a rooting of the main line. instead he cleaned a p-​trap and replaced the fresh water line on the toilet. we had a follow up call the next day to check on things.
I’m glad we didn’t go with the big R (rotor rooter) and called a small business instead.

Ranger Rooter is excellent and I’d recommend it 100% — not only have they done work in my home, but my family members as well. Now, we call Ranger Rooter at work too, first call they make whenever something happens. They answer, they tell you what time they’ll be there and they show up ready to fix things.
Josue is honest, friendly, funny guy with a solution for everything. Very cost-​effective and good work. What else can you ask for? Give them a call…

I’m writing this review after having Ranger Rooter work on my condo on 2 separate occasions. First time was a clogged bath tub that draino wouldn’t fix (as it usually does), second time was a kitchen sink that wouldn’t drain. Both times Josue was available to get the job done within 24 hours. During the kitchen sink repair, he warned me that my kitchen pipes looked very old and might crack during the snaking, and estimated a low price to repair if it needed it. It ended up cracking, but his cost for putting in a new piple was only $ 40. Very reasonable. His work is good, he is friendly and offers good customer service. The jobs were guaranteed for 4 months if there was still a problem.

Simply awesome! I had two plumbers come out and tell me I needed to reroute the drain and tear up the concrete on my two-​story rental because they could not clear the drain! Josue cleared the drain in less than 30 minutes… was fast to arrive, reasonable prices (on a Sunday even) and very pleasant. Will use him from now on for drain clearing and plumbing issues. Truly a happy new year for me.
November 2011 — Love the fact that you can send him an email and he responds quickly and takes care of calls today… plus you can put the charge on a credit card, which is really convenient.

Honest, straight-​shooting, friendly, most affordable out of the five plumbers that I called. Josue came out and gave me good advice and snaked my main line; he suspected a break so I am having Roto Rooter do a video inspection as we might have to replace the line. Will update more soon based on what Roto finds.
To save you time, A1 Greer Family Plumbing was $ 185 for a snake, EZ Plumbing was $ 175, Turbo Plumbing was $ 148 ($ 250 for camera services), Roto Rooter was $ 197 per hour.
Ranger Rooter was only $ 135.
