FINALLY, this place closed. Normally, dumpster rats are sad to sacrifice a food source. These dumpster rats are relieved because they know they will no longer be hunted.

I feel bad that this place has soooo many bad reviews. So let me put it in perspective. I go here every Tuesday around 6 p.m. I buy a kids meal for my son which comes with chips and drink. My son loves the burrito and I add chicken, sour cream, guacamole etc for extra charge. I eat the Tuesday special of 2 tacos, rice beans for only $ 5. I feel this is a good deal and the place is not too expensive. The chicken and pork are good. Sometimes the food does look like its been sitting there. The guy gives me a big helping of rice as I don’t take beans with the Tacos. It’s not fine dining — but the kids meals are good and the tacos are good and inexpensive. The restaurant is always deserted. Clean and comfortable.

After we went to Daiso, we decided to grab a little late lunch. The place was a barren wasteland of quiet. Usually when you go to a Mexican restaurant, they have some music; this place was totally different. They had a television perched high above the soda machine with the volume turned down low, low, low. It was a nice change because you could actually hear the person behind the counter, not to mention the person you are eating with. Food was ok. I got some tacos, one chicken, one pork, to be exact. They were tasty, but they were the stewed kind – I prefer grilled meats for their flavor. Pricing was decent at only $ 4 for two, so I’m not complaining there. The food just wasn’t super memorable, so we’re not likely to return.

The food is ok, I would much rather go to a Taqueria and pay allot less money. The guys that work there are not very friendly either.
