Left 2 – 3 messages, never heard back. What is going on with bakeries these days? This is the second bakery that I’ve called who seems to just ignore calling clients back.

Our wedding cake was BEYOND amazing. A big thanks to Kelli for her wonderful talent for artistic and GREAT TASTING cakes. The frosting was so smooth and delicious that myself and husband ate EVERY bite of our slice of cake (and took a slice of each layer home with us after the wedding). We literally did not have a SINGLE slice of cake left at the end of our wedding/​reception. Yes, the cake is THAT good. Seriously the first wedding I have ever seen all of the cake be eaten.
We had a 3-​tier cake that had three different flavors (almond cake with strawberry cream mousse filling, chocolate cake with Oreo mousse filling, and lemon cake with strawberry preserve filling)
I had several folks contact me after the wedding to ask who made the cake and I know that they plan to reach out to Kelli for their events.
My husband and I could not have been happier. Everything was BETTER than we could have ever imagined.

A few years ago I had a coupon for «Kelli’s Creations» for 50% off, so I was excited to use it for my sister’s birthday and immediately drove to the location to order a cake for her. I was disappointed to see that Kelli didn’t have her own shop, rather she had a tiny section inside a party supply store. Also, she wasn’t very helpful in selecting a cake, so I settled on a cake in the shape of a purse and picked it up on the day of my sister’s birthday. Worse of all my whole family was put off by the super sweet icky tasting fondant that covered the entire cake! Needless to say I’ve never been back, and have since found a bakery that makes an excellent tasting birthday cake. :)

Kelli made our cake for our 8÷21÷14 wedding. She was initially hard to reach, but once we were able to get in for a tasting, everything went very smoothly.
We asked a lot of Kelli; we wanted a naked cake (something she’d never done before), something very simple and rustic looks (nothing fancy or with flowers, which is sort of a cake baker’s forte), and we needed a tier that was gluten free.
Kelli really delivered. Our cake was 4 tiers, alternating naked cake and a rustically frosted cake, the top tier was a small gluten-​free cake perfect for our GF guests, and it all was delicious.
Kelli’s pricing was wayyy better than most bakeries and the cake is delicious. We even sent some cake home to Chicago (with the assistance of other family members and some carefully carried boxes) for grandparents who couldn’t make the trip to Seattle. We’re really pleased with how our cake turned out.

We used Kelli’s Creations for our wedding. After the initial meeting and tasting, it was hard to reach Kelli, which can be frustrating for a bride. However, she followed through in the end, so I can’t complain too much.
Her cake was beautiful and delicious. I wish we had more though. The day went by so quickly! Many guests commented on how good the cake tasted.
Overall, I recommend Kelli. Her cake prices were decent and yummy! Communication may be frustrating but after the florist showed up 3 hours late to my wedding, this seemed like a minor issue at the end of the day.

Kelli’s cakes are delicious and beautiful. On a recommendation, my sister got her wedding cake from Kelli’s Creations, and after tasting her cake I followed suit for my own wedding. Kelli was great to work with! So glad we found her!

Her cakes are good. Getting ahold of her is another thing. I’ve used her twice and both times, getting her to respond to email is tough… I had to email her countless times to get an answer from her.

If you want THE PERFECT cake in every way, look no further! I found Kelli’s Creations at The Seattle Wedding Expo… after sampling TONS of cake, hers was BY FAR the best!!! She is so creative and talented and truly a pleasure to work with. You won’t be disappointed!

Our wedding cake was the first cake we ordered through Kelli. But, as it turned out, we couldn’t wait for our wedding to taste her cake again. So, we found a reason to order a small cake even before our wedding. That’s how it all started! Kelli has now made numerous cakes for our special events: birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, etc. Every time, the cakes are not only beautiful, colorful, tasteful, but absolutely delicious! I recommend Kelli every single time I hear that someone is ordering a cake.
I think our favorite cakes have been the ones that matched the theme of a party. If you look at the attached photos, you can see what I mean. The woodland animals cake (for my baby shower) was amazing! The ice cream sundae cake (for my son’s 1^st birthday) was so fun! And the attention to detail on the Very Hungry Caterpillar cake (for my son’s 2^nd birthday) was just perfect. Best of all, though… these cakes don’t just look good (like some other local cake bakers). They TASTE delicious!!! My favorite flavor is the almond cake, but they’re all so yummy!

Kelli’s cakes are amazing. she is a so friendly and her cakes taste like a little bite of heaven. she has done many kinds of cake for my family and no matter what we give her she can do. she made a airplane cake, orca whale cake, and allot other kinds of cakes for us. we love Kelli. she is great.

I have had many cakes made from Kelli :) Birthday cakes that were amazing, a «Rainbow» cheesecake that was fabulous and extremely rainbowey! Is that a word? It was a huge success at the «Rainbow» party and delicious! Took a cake «replica» of my 1968 annual to our 60^th. birthday party iand it looked exactly!!! like it and everyone was just dazed and amazed, including myself! Super yummy too. Huge success for our celebration. She can do anything, design anything and so efficient and always has it on time, never a problem! Perfect business to go to for uniqueness and design and she is super nice too.

I gave Kelli several pics of wedding cakes with things on them I liked and told her what I wanted. She totally delivered! My wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! People complimented on how moist and flavorful the cake was.
Kelli was easy to deal with but she’s not the quickest at responding to emails. It’s a tradeoff for working with genius so I can handle that. We met up for cake tasting and Mikel and I were floored at how good it all was. We decided on almond cake and raspberry filling. For the look, I told her I wanted an all off-​white cake with frills and had picture but nothing exact. She figured out what I wanted and made a beautiful cake! We were thrilled!

I have had the opportunity to indulge in cakes made by Kelli several times now. It started with a friend’s wedding (coconut cake w blackberry filling!), then an outageous idea for a plane shaped cake for a retirement party (yellow cake w peanut butter crème filling) and then to many, many birthday cakes actually, any reason. We’ve had Almond with Bavarian Cream, a Tom & Jerry themed white/​chocolate marble cake with peanut butter crème, a small Orca birthday cake, several non-​themed but gorgeous cakes, a few sheet cakes (white with raspberry, chocolate with chocolate filling) — they are all delicious! From start to finish, working with Kelli has been great and her prices are so reasonable for custom cakes. You would be crazy to not order from Kelli for any occassion!!!

I used Kelli’s Creations for my friends baby shower I threw on Saturday. The cake was beautiful and really delicious! I sent her a picture of the cake I wanted and she was able to match it exactly. Her prices are great too. Defintely recommend.

I am surprised that I spaced and didn’t review Kelli’s Creations sooner!!! Kelli is AMAZING. Her cakes, her personality, her service… everything=AMAZING. My husband fell in love during our cake-​tasting and it absolutely ruined him for any cake-​tastings to follow (as it did for me, too!). Midway through our planning, we had to seriously downsize our cake order. Kelli was extremely flexible and even calming during what was quite a stressful time. She made us a beautiful and simple display of cupcakes (vanilla with raspberry mouse topping) with a clean and elegant mini two-​tier cake (almond cake with raspberry mouse filling) for cutting. My husband got himself an amazing soccer ball cake (chocolate with heath bar mouse!) that also allowed him to pay homage to the Seattle Sounders and our supporter group, GFC. People are STILL talking about how awesome the cakes were and I imagine it will remain to be one of the highlights of our wedding as we look back on it for years to come.

Delicious. Beautiful. Wonderful. I could keep going! We ordered three cakes with Kelli, and were so happy with all of them. My husband loved his groom’s cakes, Father in Law was wowed by his birthday cake, and our wedding cake was exactly what I wanted. Kelli and I did all of our correspondence over email, and she was able to put all my ideas together. Husband wanted lemon cake, and the one that Kelli made was just what he wanted. And Kelli’s prices were unbelievable! Kelli came highly recommended from my wedding planner and photographer.

Delicious! Amazing! We ate the entire cake! Our cake looked beautiful for our wedding and I swear, I have never had a creamier, more buttery buttercream icing than Kelli’s. Nor, have I ever had a more moist cake, which was still moist 2 days later. Our cake flavors were white with lemon filling, champagne with raspberry filling and almond with Bavarian cream filling. I will definitely be purchasing cakes from her for future events and celebrations.

That is what my wife said when she took the first bite of my daughters winter themed, checkerboard birthday cake (see the photos for the pale blue checkerboard cake by me). My daughter had seen this on one of the cooking channels and thought it would be great to try. I went to five local bakeries and two said no way, but the other two referred me to Kelli. I called her, waited a day but didn’t hear back so contacted her through her website. Next day, still nothing… The fourth day I called and emailed her. Two hours later I got a reply email and we got the ball rolling. The slow start is my only criticism — the product makes up for any back-​office issues.
I described what I was had in mind, ‘something like the cover of the Christmas Eddie Bauer catalog in color, with a winter theme’. After two more emails asking a few further questions and two further about meeting for delivery, I met with Kelli in a local malls parking lot. When she showed it to me, I was floored! The design and artwork, the attention to detail (like little wisps of fondant smoke leaving the chimneys of fondant houses) and the edible glitter sprinkled like blowing snow across the cake were simply stunning!
As you can see, she made the cakes and used a ‘biscuit cutter’ method to manually make the Checkerboard pattern instead of using one of those pans from
(which I’ve read can leach batter between sides).
The cake is delicious! Unlike the ‘warehouse/​grocery store’ bakeries the butter cream frosting was not tooth-​achingly sweet. In fact, when I had a piece, I didn’t require a my usual huge glass of milk to wash it down. The fondant had a nice, chewy texture (like a Tootsie Roll texture) while sealing the cake and keeping the moisture in (because it’s a big cake and we’ll take a few weeks to finish it off). The frosting was good, with a dense texture rather than a fluffy texture (although that could be my fault because I left it, unrefrigerated, in my Jeep for 5 hours as we did two family events).
To sum it up, my daughter loved it, my wife loved it and I didn’t get in trouble for screwing up her birthday cake (yes, it has happened twice before…). With Kelli doing the work, you can not go wrong! We’ll be back many times in the near future.

We used Kelli for our wedding cake and were so thrilled with her! The cake she made for us was so pretty and it tasted amazing. I’m not a huge cake person but our cake was really, really good. I didn’t get much at the wedding (except what was smashed into my face, ha), but we had some packed in a to-​go box for us and it was really some of the best cake I have ever had. It was a 3 layer cake — 2 of the layers were almond cake with berry and white chocolate filling (my favorite) and the other layer was chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling.

Kelli was so awesome she made us a beautiful wedding cake that tasted so delightful. We really wanted to have the smooth look of a fondant cake but did not want the taste and rubbery texture she assured that she could make the butter cream frosting smooth and flawless and she really DID IT!
Our cake was stunning! She even went above and beyond and made us custom flavors. We had 3 tiers; the first was Banana bread cake with Bavarian cream filling, the second was white chocolate cake with strawberry preserve filling, and the last was coconut cake with passion fruit filling.
We had so many compliments about our cake. I would highly recommend Kelli for your next event.

she has made me the most beautiful birthday cake EVER! it brought tears to my eyes when i saw it! i can’t believe how wonderful it is! i didn’t have a very detailed designed… i just showed her a few pictures and said «something like that»… i didn’t really care about what it looked like, because from previous experience, i KNOW it tastes AMAZING. and OMG i just picked it up and it is SO GREAT!!!
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL YOUR CAKE NEEDS TO HAVE KELLI CREATE IT!
ETA: kelli has also made my wedding cake, as well as many of my friends wedding cakes, my birthday cake, another friends birthday cake, and also our anniversary wedding cake. every single time kelli has done absolutely amazing! she will always be my number one baker!
