Otto did a fantastic job with lighting up the venue for «Erik and Rickie» with their ballroom dance show. The lighting made the dance show world class!

We hired Otto-​matic music for our wedding on 9÷13÷15. Otto and Dylan were so nice to work with! We really enjoyed how relaxed, yet professional you both were throughout the planning process and then on our wedding day. Otto, the owner, edited a couple of songs for us and the result was not only quick but exactly what we were looking for!
We hired DJ Dylan for our reception. After we hired him Otto-​matic added some additional lighting options to his package. We were given the additional lights and at no extra charge! The lighting was great. Dylan really made the party by playing all of our requested music as well as the many requests he was given.

DJ Justin was incredible! Our wedding guests could not stop talking about how great he was. Not only did he keep everyone dancing the entire night, but also his announcements kept the entire day running smoothly. My husband and I highly recommend DJ Justin!

August 1^st, 2015 was the greatest day of my entire life! One HUGE reason for that was DJ Justin. He was absolutely fantastic! It started with our totally seamless consultation. Justin was so easy to talk to and he, myself and my husband instantly clicked. Even after throwing a few additional requests his way literally hours before the wedding… He not only took on the challenges but implemented them perfectly. The execution of our 3 second Friends theme song clip mid ceremony. PERFECTION.
Justin totally rolled with the punches and even though our ceremony was much quicker than expected, he moved indoors and kept the party content and happy until it was time to eat.
We literally danced the entire night and if we could’ve we probably would have kept going until dawn or until we could no longer move our legs. Every person I have spoken to about the wedding has not only complimented us on the day but they have also complimented us on our AWESOME DJ. There have been multiple times since the wedding where I have tried to find another reason to have DJ Justin help us dance all night long.
I highly recommend Justin and am so thankful we found him to make our special day even more special!

Our wedding would not have been the same without our DJ Otto! He hit our music preferences spot on! The crowd danced until the music had to shut down at midnight.
He was easy to work with and did an amazing job cutting together our first dance song (~23 songs in 7min edited together) for a very epic and memorable first dance on stage :-)
He was very responsive to emails, he came prepared with different versions of the songs, and was very upfront throughout the process of what he can do and was creative in inspiring/​providing additional ideas.
We used the photo booth option, and got many great photos from it! Our guests loved it. The custom prints were awesome! We had two different types coming out of the machine so every person was able to to take home a 4×6 and leave us one in our scrapbook! The digital copies were provided promptly and awesome to have the raw photos as well as the ones with the planned pre-​printed backgrounds.
The confetti cannon option is where it is at! This display of confetti over the top of the crowd on the dance floor as we signed our wedding certificate was unforgettable!
Otto was very skilled at working with our complicated projection needs to have slideshows going during the dance party and during each of special father/​daughter, mother/​son, and mom/​daughter dances! We did not make it easy but Otto was really there for us and made it happen!
We were more than happy with our production and highly recommend Otto for any event!

When planning our wedding my, then fiancé, now husband, and I did not plan to book our DJ before anything else but we couldn’t wait after finding Otto. Not quite a year before our wedding we had secured the venue but were just researching other vendors. I spent hours looking at DJs and listening to their samples and watching their videos. I finally narrowed it down to a few of my favorites before showing my fiancé. He didn’t seem impressed with any until he came to Otto. He was mesmerized and probably the most excited I had seen him about any aspect of the wedding planning process. I too had loved Otto and the rest of the DJs within his company so we agreed to email him right away. Immediately after I sent the email I was sent into a panic on whether or not he would be available or if he could offer us a great deal we had found on his webpage that had actually expired the month prior. We needed Otto! The music, the lights, the atmosphere. He was perfect. After what seemed like days but was only about an hour, Otto responded back and agreed to give us the deal and put us down on his calendar with us only having to pay a small deposit. Thank goodness!
Come wedding time, I had a whole list of songs I wanted him to play. When sitting down with him a week before the wedding I presented him with the list worried that he would think I was crazy for coming to him with so many requests. He was so great about it all and thanked me for having it all prepared for him. He loved our song selections and was great about working with us on finding just the right mix for the wedding.
The day of the wedding he was there bright and early to set up for the ceremony. He played music for us as we took pictures which was so nice. He had microphones ready for us and speakers set up perfectly. He played all the songs I wanted and everything went perfect. I didn’t think it could get much better but I was so wrong. He had transformed the barn for our reception into the most amazingly lit room I had ever seen at a wedding. All the colors matched our scheme and made it all look even more beautiful. He had the photo booth set up for us, which was such a hit, along with props he threw in for us for being customers with another vendor he partners with. The sound was great, the music was on point and the lights made it all magical. I think more people commented on how great Otto was more so than my dress, not really, but it was a close tie.
DJ Otto helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives! He is a little pricier than some other DJs out there but it is SO WORTH IT! My husband and I couldn’t have been any happier. He even gave us full audio of our ceremony and reception along with the pictures from the photo booth. Listening to my husband read his vows again and our children read an excerpt from a book at the ceremony is something I will always cherish.

My fiancée (now wife) and I met with him a couple weeks before our wedding. Justin was near the end of an exhausting string of grad-​night party gigs, but he remained upbeat, friendly, and enthusiastic.
Justin’s attitude was just as great if not better on wedding day. During the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, he played the exact type of music we had discussed in our meeting. His announcements were jovial and energetic without sounding superficial or over the top. Reminding me of a wedding three times the size, the sound and lighting presentation took the reception up a few notches in terms of professionalism. Justin had the same big smile on his face as he tore down his equipment at the end of the night. I had a smile on my face too, knowing that everyone had fun at the wedding thanks in part to DJ Justin.

We chose Andy as our wedding DJ and he was awesome! He was attentive and professional towards everyone who attended. He was also very flexible at our wedding which I was so grateful for because I didn’t have a wedding coordinator. The music sounded great in our yard and he played everything as requested. Payments were made easy through Otto also and they gave us helpful timelines and song tips to help plan our night. I never felt pressured into their services or buying extra equipment we didn’t need (which we had experienced from other DJs) They made everything so simple. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

So happy we upped the music budget! Otto delivered a better value (DJ, up lights, photo booth and ceremony music,) than had we tried and al a carte these items. We ended up with so much more, for not a lot of $$ added.
Otto is a great DJ and event director. It’s all about the music, not being loud and obnoxious. I’m happy to recommend him for your next event. Book early! He fills up months in advance.

I can’t say enough good things about Justin. He’s great! Not only did he do an awesome job as a DJ at our wedding, he’s also just a really nice guy. He’s always friendly and up-​beat.
When it came to planning our entertainment, Justin was very thorough and his attention to detail was impressive. Leading up to the wedding we had several meetings in person, as well as exchanging emails, in order to create a solid plan for the evening’s entertainment. Justin was open to listening to our obscure song choices, had great suggestions for the areas we got stuck, and in general made the whole process painless.
The day of the event Justin showed up early and had everything in place and ready to go before the guests started arriving. We had hired a cellist for the ceremony and Justin worked with him to make sure everything went smoothly. The rest of the evening ran like clockwork. All of the segments of the wedding were announced correctly and with a sense of fun and excitement. The lighting was fun and well done as well. I would recommend Justin to anyone looking for a DJ!

Otto is the man and so easy to work with. Always prompt and easy to get a hold of. He has done my ships Christmas party 3 years in a row now and it has been flawless and well worth the price. I recommend him to everyone I know stop reading and book him now!

My wife and I got married in summer 2014 and Otto was hands down one of the best vendors we worked with. He is great at reading a crowd, easy to work with, professional, organized, and has fantastic lighting/​sound equipment. He is a very experienced DJ, and this comes across in everything he does.
Music is incredibly important to us. We spent a weekend putting together playlists for each stage of the reception, including a customized wedding party introduction (to the tune of the Chicago Bulls starting lineup). The music spanned many genres, including traditional Ethiopian music. Needless to say we were asking Otto to do a lot of things I’m sure he’s not normally asked to do.
One email with all of the information is all it took. He understood what we were looking for and executed perfectly. He made things easy for us, which is very helpful when there are so many other things stressing you out during wedding prep.
The quality of his lighting equipment was a nice surprise. We were expecting just some basic colored lights. But he integrated the lighting all around the reception space, and coordinated the colors and movement to the music. The quality of the lighting was on par with what you’d find in a high end night club.
Our guests danced for almost 4 hours straight!

i figured a DJ is a DJ is a DJ… right?! WRONG! i had no idea how lucky i was choosing DJ Otto for our wedding day.
to me, food and photography were the most important parts of my wedding and the things i wanted to splurge on. i know music is important too but it was 3^rd on my list and i figured as long as i got someone decent, it would be fine. i can honestly say that Otto was my favorite vendor i hired for our wedding day. i was beyond satisfied and thrilled with his services. he was worth every penny and then some. our guests kept coming up to us all night saying things like «best DJ of all time» and «i’m so tired and want to sit but he keeps playing my jams and i can’t. stop. dancing.»
our initial conversation with Otto was great. you could tell he cared about his craft and he was really excited about «new toys» he recently acquired. i figured all the bells and whistles are cool but i really just cared about the music. MY HOW LITTLE I KNEW! all of the extras that Otto comes with are what set him apart. i had no idea how much lighting could change the energy and atmosphere of the room. Otto NAILED IT.
over the course of my 18 month engagement i went to A LOT of weddings. i quickly realized that the DJ or band could make or break how much fun guests had at an event. there is nothing worse than a corny DJ or a sparse dance floor. you don’t have to worry about any of that with Otto. he’s an in the background kind of guy and really puts the party and music front and center. just the way it should be.
i can not say enough great things about him and his team. you can’t go wrong choosing him, seriously. he’s the only vendor we hired that blew me out of the water and far exceeded my expectations. he even gave us a voice recording of our ceremony and the mix he played for the wedding. it’s such a fun keepsake and was one of the best presents we got from our wedding.

Simply put. Otto was awesome. The Dj makes the wedding and he truly did an amazing job transitioning in between things. Our guests stayed until midnight dancing their pants off! If you have considered the photo booth, you really should do it. It was well worth the extra money. Our guests had a ton of fun with it. If your looking for a DJ you really should consider Otto.

Justin Phillips and Otto-​Matic Mobile Music were the champions of our wedding.
We had our original DJ fall through on us at last second. This naturally stressed us out as the big day was looming. A friend of mine happened to recommend Otto’s company, and at this point my wife and I couldn’t be happier that the original guy cancelled. My pre-​event dealings with Otto-​Matic and Justin were extremely professional. Once Justin was connected directly to us, he took the reigns and made the transition seamless on very short notice.
We got married at Belle Chapel in Snohomish. Justin showed up super early and made himself completely available to us. He set up his station, went over the event agenda with us and made sure I didn’t need any help with anything else. Once the event got started, all I can say is WOW. Justin was just absolutely the life of the party. He hit every cue, played every song we requested, checked on us regularly for requests/​etc, and just did wonders to take the stress off our backs. Additionally, we got one of the lighting packages which completely transformed the venue. Highly recommended to anyone reading this!

We were overall very pleased with DJ Brien Elliot from Otto-​Matic. He was extremely helpful as we planned for the reception — and his suggestions went beyond music. He helped us think about what order of events had worked well at past weddings. He was very familiar with our wedding venue (Ray’s Boathouse in Ballard), which helped us feel comfortable that the set-​up would go off without a hitch — and it really did! He played a wide range of music, including stuff that excited older family members and younger friends alike (though a couple of songs on our «do not play» list made it into the rotation). He was very professional throughout the planning process and during the reception. All in all, he helped contribute to a very fun party!
As a piece of advice to future brides and grooms — we didn’t spend a whole lot of time thinking about what songs we wanted played at the reception, so we didn’t really give the DJ a whole lot to go on (and still we were really impressed with the set he put together!!). Our advice would be to create a running list on which to jot down songs as they came to mind.

Otto has got to be the World’s Greatest Wedding DJ. From start to finish, he had his stuff down. Where to begin… how bout the beginning?
Upon submitting a request for contact online, Otto called me within about 30 minutes. We talked for about a half hour and it was clear that he was as passionate about making our wedding a success as I was. We booked him on that initial call.
The down payment was through PayPal… easy.
We live in Chicago but were getting married in Seattle. This would be super stressful under normal circumstances, but Otto took the worry away by making himself available on the phone and on Skype any time we needed him.
We met in person when we visited Seattle a couple months before the wedding to talk details. He genuinely cares about his craft and it came through every time we spoke.
Then came the big day. Otto was at the venue, set up, and already relaxed by the time we arrived. He mic’ed me up for the ceremony and we were off to the races.
Not only did Otto mic me and provide a handheld mic for the officiants, he recorded the whole ceremony and the music from the party. Getting those recordings was one of the best wedding presents we received.
Otto set up uplights for the ceremony and party, he had a spotlight that he used for the disco ball and for the grand entrances. He was on top of every aspect of the wedding.
Probably most importantly, Otto played the best mix of music that has ever graced a wedding. He flowed from one song to the next, while keeping the energy alive all night. He was able to accommodate guest requests without breaking stride and still hit all of the important songs that we requested.
I actually don’t like weddings and I hate dancing but I didn’t step foot off the dance floor.
Our wedding was the best day of my life, in large part due to Otto.

DJ Otto spun for my wedding and did a fantastic job, he sat with us and got a feel for our music style and was able to create a personalized playlist for us. He rolled each song into the next so no awkward pauses, also the sound system he uses is bananas! It was the perfect bass to treble mix. My Hubby and I interviewed over 8 or more DJs. We felt that they were all in it for just because it was their job. They all came out for a consultation or it was their assistant. One of them Got ANGRY and laughed at us when they asked us what our price range was. We were direct and honest but He didn’t have to put us in guilt mode and made us feel like the worst people ever. Other Djs just felt overwhelmed by my ideas or didn’t have everything we wanted.
We met with Brien in Kirkland. He was patient and open to my ideas. He was prepared, relaxed, and professional. We immediately felt that he was the one for our wedding. We knew he could make my dream wedding come true. He was excited to hear my creative ideas. Other DJs turned it down or was just overwhelmed by my ideas.
At the wedding, He was AWESOME! I was stressed but he knew to stay calm when ever he had questions. He told me to give him the Nod or some sort of non verbal signal to stop or change something. He was always watching me, watching my guests, my family, DJ-​ing, MC-​ing, displaying my slide shows and Dancing to the music as he was Dj-​ing. He was just awesome! He went with my planned schedule as well as playing by the ear when it was needed depending on time, guests, hubby and me.
We had two grand entrances! Which overwhelmed all the other DJ’s in the Seattle /​Eastside areas… and Brien did it PERFECTLY!
Bonus: I went to change in to a red dress midway thru the reception and i guess he saw me running out from the change room and he immediately put on another special entrance by putting on Lady in Red and announcing my entrance. Every one cheered and continued to have a great time!
My guests told me that it’s the BEST wedding reception they have ever been! I looked back at the videos and EVERYONE was dancing! Everyone was having a blast! Brien made my wedding the Best and Most memorable for my guests!

My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with Ottto’s work. From initial sit down to the wedding night, he was professional and very helpful. He guided us through the process smoothly so we didn’t have to stress. My wife and I were both looking for a DJ that was affordable but also not cheesy. Otto did a great job of emceeing so that guests new what to do and when to do it. Otto played exactly what we wanted as far as genre’s etc. The sound and lighting was more than we expected and the guests commented on how fun the dancing was all night. Otto just «gets it «when it comes to playing relevant music we wanted and being professional, friendly and down to earth at the same time. We both would recommend him (and have already) to anyone!

We got married at Hidden Meadows last month and everything with the music went smoothly. He provided a template/​timeline to help me get organized with planning music for the ceremony which was very helpful. We only provided about 10 must-​play dance songs for the receptions (these were separate from the special songs: first dance, mother-​son, etc.) I told him I wanted dance music for all ages/​generations for the earlier part and music geared toward my generation for the later dancing. He did a great job choosing songs everyone could dance to and the dance floor was full the entire time. No complaints and I was glad I could trust him to put on a great show!
We also purchased uplighting and it added a great dynamic to the reception décor.
