You expect a one star hotel to be a bit dirty, rundown, and dated. And this one is all of those things. You probably don’t expect it to be dangerous, though. This one is.
My room had no smoke detector, which is not only a serious building code violation but also against the law. And the bread they set out for the continental breakfast (bread and cereal was all there was) was moldy. Literal green mold on it.
When I informed the front desk and manager about the dangers I’d experienced, they were mildly concerned at best. They offered me no discount or refund, nor any assurances that these safety concerned would be promptly addressed.
Avoid at all costs.

Dated, dark, hidden, but good service. We had to drive by twice just to make sure they were actually open because the sign was out and the parking lot was empty.

This days inn had absolutely terrible customer service. The beds were never made with clean sheets old sheets were used, dog shit was found under the bed the manager or owner of this establishment wanted to charge us for a second room when we were given it due to the fact that our room was in utter shambles. This hotel is not worth your money!

This place would get zero stars from me if it were possible. They put us in a room that was supposed to be «out of service» at first. In said room, we were missing many things, one of which was a table. Because of the lack of table, I accidentally bumped into a hanging lamp and screamed because the lamp was infested with the funk of forty thousands years. When we got to the new room it was much better, but that’s not saying much. The comforters were torn, the furniture was unclean and dusty, I didn’t want to touch anything. Even the walls had stains on them. A friend of mine in a different room had masking tape holding her smoke detector up. We decided to go to the local McDonald’s just to be in a cleaner environment. Also, because I threw away all of my food– there was a stench in the air that made you feel like everything in the building was immediately contaminated. I felt like I needed to use a kleenex to use the remote or turn on a light (I would suggest it). I even felt guilty leaving my stuffed animal in the room when I had to go somewhere. We never once saw housekeeping in the entire building. Weird, right? I decided against a shower as I felt I would feel dirtier after. If I don’t feel safe showering, there’s no way I’m trying the breakfast. To top it off, the front desk attendant in the evening was incredibly rude. Never stay here. Ever. There are far too many other options in the area.

In its prime, this hotel was probably a nice place to stay. There is an (old, dusty) trophy case in the lobby that contains «five sun» awards from as not-​so-​recent as 2005. This simple display is emblematic of the fundamental problem at this (and almost all) privately-​owned Days Inn properties. The general concept seems to be: do just enough to not get condemned; hide the flaws as best as possible. This hotel does not even succeed on this front.
One up-​mark comes to the fact that we arrived as a large group several hours prior to check-​in and yes, all our rooms were ready. This is a compliment akin to keeping an electric chair in fine working order so that it’s ready to kill at a moment’s notice.
The furniture is a hodge-​podge of new and old, moving any item in the room an inch off its marks reveals thick layers of dust and filth that indicate deep-​cleaning never, ever happens.
I found a wad of blue chewing gum on the closet wall. Not by choice. The television was of the old, large, mostly-​working, and sticky variety. There was a burn hole in the top sheet. There was dried soda on the desk. The carpet left my socks a darker shade. I threw them out… after I slept in them… on top of the sheets. The air ventilator contained a large blanket of dust, and spots of black mold. Hard to accomplish in a dry winter climate. Long red hairs in the shower. Towels made of sandpaper. No usable washcloths… all three had brown and yellow stains on them.
I will be advising my booking company to PROHIBIT use of this hotel, I will be reporting the conditions at the hotel to the parent company and I will be suggesting monthly drop in inspections until this property is either closed or undergoes a full overhaul.

NEVER EVER in my life have I seen such a scuzzy hotel that I was asked to pay for. Honestly, they should have paid me for surviving my stay.
My one star is out of 10 not 5. This place is filthy, outdated, missing furniture, and just plain ratchet! Do NOT stay here!

This is the place for you if you liked hotels circa 1995. Nothing has been updated since or cleaned since. You can hear through the walls, the carpet is coming up from the floor, the lights don’t work, and the staff isn’t the nicest. There is a fridge but it’s unclear if it was just warm or if it was just kind of cool because it was dark in there. If you decide to stay here please bring shower shoes.

Cancelled our room. We had email confirmation that stated all correct information including our CELL phone! When we got their they said they had no contact info so they gave our room away!
We showed the very unpleasant employee our confirmation email and the ONLY response we got was Oh well to late we’re booked now and your room is GONE!
As someone who travels to Muncie now and then and has stayed at many of the wonderful hotels in the area I HIGHLY suggest if you want your room when you arrive and a friendly helpful person at the desk you go to ANOTHER hotel! This hotel can NOT be trusted with bookings…

FIlthy! Filthy! Filthy! (dust everywhere, bottle caps & garbage under the beds, stained carpet, moldy bathmat glued to tub, cobwebs in shower, dirty & ripped carpet going up the steps, etc.) and the straw that broke the camel’s back was finding a cockroach in the bathroom after we had stayed 1 night. We checked out immediately after finding the roach, but since it wasn’t until 4:30PM, GM Raj Patel refused to refund any money. I would give zero stars if I could!

As musicians, we spend a lot of time on the road. And, like most «working» musicians (Those just trying to make it day to day, no agent, no contracts, nothing like that), we’re only interested in a clean, comfortable place to stay.
This Days Inn fit that bill for us. The room was clean, the WiFi was decent, and the price was right. Was it fancy? Certainly not. But it was a clean, convenient, and comfortable place for a good night’s sleep. What else do we need?

While I dont expect a 5 star resort when I stay at a Days Inn… I didnt expect to see such a run down tired and dirty hotel. The room featured a ripped bedspread exposing the cotton inside worn to the point that you could almost see through in some places. The pillows were gross heavily sweat stained. I had to triple up the pillowcases. There were lights burned out. The furniture was old and dated. The only thing i enjoyed was my banana I picked up in the lobby on my way to my car! Stay somewhere else!

Despite the fact that I had a confirmed room with my confirmation in hand, the hotel cancelled our reservation. Their reasoning… they did not have a valid credit card or phone number on file. Interesting thing is the credit card and phone number they repeated back to me is not mine. I showed the man behind the desk my reservation with my phone number, which was not what he had in the system. So we were turned away and could not find a hotel room in town at such a late hour. I have NEVER had this happen. This hotel only received two stars before my stay. Their customer service deserves zERO stars!!!
