I called and they sent a tech out the next day. He arrived on time and fixed our dishwasher and explained what happened and what was done
He was very professional. I highly recommend this company

2^nd time using AAbsolute in Mundelein. They were prompt both times got a tech out that day. The first time I had a broken washing machine and 2^nd time dishwasher. Fixed in under 30 minutes and explained thoroughly what the issue was, showed me the broken part and gave me a very reasonable price for the repairs. I highly recommend them!

They came out and diagnosed the problem with my dryer right away and fixed it without any trouble. Very happy.

I contacted A Absolute Repair regarding my washing machine which abruptly stopped working. Jim told me they were already scheduled for the day but we could set an appointment for the following day. Within a few hours he called me back explaining one of the techs had finished a service call early & would I be available in 30 minutes! I was thrilled! The gentleman arrived, was courteous & quickly accessed the problem. He told me what it would cost to repair & once I agreed he got right to work. Shortly after he did a test to make sure the new part was working properly. Before leaving he cleaned out all the debris & dust bunnies from under the washer put the machine back together & I was happily back in business.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Tried setting up a Service call, received a window of time 1−3pm
Took time off of work sat home at about 3oclock I received a call from them to let me know they wont be coming out until 5:30… Really?
That is totally unacceptable I immediately cancelled.
Would never use again…

Had Jim out to fix my fridge. Good price, good work, came when he said. He provided good information and and did a good job. No complaints, very good experience.

They advertise ²⁴⁄₇ emergency appliance service. No return call after leaving a voice mail.

Jim answered the phone right when I called & I was able to get a same-​day estimate for our broken washer. Bob showed up on time & as it turns out, the problem was small, so he was able to do the repair work right then & there for a reasonable fee. The entire process took only 3 hour total — from the time I called, the washer was working again in 3 hours! Awesome!!!
They were both professional & courteous.

very happy with A Absolute. Had a couple burners on Thermador stove that didn’t work and Jim said we needed a new computer board for them, since they were the super low on/​off simmer burners. Took about a week to get them and he installed and they now work perfectly. He also ordered lights for the hood and a cover plate for the dishwasher. Other than the service charge (which was deducted from the final bill) he didn’t accept payment until he had completed the job. He’ll be the first we call for appliance repairs.

The service man was very polite. He explained everything very clearly. He made sure that I understood the different options and what they would cost. He repaired my refrigerator and repaired the kinked water line at no additional charge. The cost was very reasonable, and he left with a couple fittings in case I wanted to change out the water inlet line in the future. In addition, he walked me through what I should do in the case that I do decide to change out the line in the future.
Overall, very pleased, and I will use them again.

Now Jim is the real deal. He picked up the pieces left by the 1^st guy who turned out to be a jerk. Jim answered all his calls, took the time to explain everything, was polite and professional and charged a fair price. Would not hesitate to use him again.

We recently called A Absolute Appliance Repair to fix our clothes dryer, and had a very positive experience in all respects. The gentleman (named Jim) who responded to our call was professional, courteeous and friendly. Jim immediately quoted the service charge, which was extremely reasonable, and explained that it was deductable from the cost of labor for the repair. He also listened to the symtoms of the breakdown, and offered a preliminary observation of what the problem was.
After examining the dryer, Jim explained that there were two possible solutions to the problem, and suggested that we try the cheaper one first, since it would involve no additional charge. Then, if it didn’t work, he would come back and install the necessary part.
As it turned out, the cheaper solution didn’t work, so we called Jim back, and he came back and installed the part, which fixed the problem. It should be noted
that he did not charge us for the second visit, nor did he charge any labor to install the part (i.e., he charged us only for the part itself).
All in all, I can recommend A Absolute Appliance Repair without reservation, i.e., based on our experience. Jim was very competent, professional, and kept us informed about what he was doing all the time. Moreover, I was very impressed by his suggestion to try to do something ourselves to save some money – most repairman I have been associated with would have just gone ahead and installed the part, and charged for the second service call.
