History

Established in 1961.

Quality Carpets and Floors was established by Bob Korte in Lansing, IL. At that time, carpeting was the only product that he sold. As time went on Bob Korte retired. I purchased the store in 2007 and began to offer other flooring products such as hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl tile. The expansion of products led me to believe that moving to a new location was inevitable. We are now in a larger new showroom which displays many more selections.

I started my career in the flooring business with installations. The experience that I gained over the course of more than 35 years earned me the knowledge of the industry products.
