Established in 2014.

Peter & Kristin Demos and Felicia Demos, owners of the famed Demos’ Restaurants (a Middle TN fav) have launched a completely new restaurant concept called, Peter D’s! Derived of the desire to bring delicious, unique entrée‘ options in a trendy environment-​and knew that Peter D’s is just what the Murfreesboro restaurant landscape needed! Peter D’s has been a dream of Peter’s for about 15 years after traveling and eating at so many truly great restaurants across the country. The Demos family loves food of all kinds and we especially love to use old family recipes like our ribs sauce recipe– that was Peter’s Grandfather’s recipe that he used in his own restaurant in Pratt City, Alabama in the 1920’s! We also love to create new dishes using unique items such as quinoa! Our Death by Quinoa Chocolate Cake which has quickly become a local fav!

Peter Demos is a 4th generation restauratuer, having owned and operated Demos’ Restaurants over the last decade and now has opened his newest concept, Peter D’s. Peter D’s is decidedly different menu and concept completely than Demos’s both in menu creation and atmosphere. Demos’ is more geared toward comfort food, in a homey– family atmosphere, whereas Peter D’s is for the diner who is more adventuresome in their palate and are looking for a great place to have a business lunch or a fun night out with friends or a date night! It’s a family belief that you should simply LOVE your food and the only way to come up with truly exceptional dishes is to literally play with recipes and come up with something new. Peter and his family and several key upper management members have «played» with recipes for quite some time now and are excited at the response folks have had for our creations!

The food was good, but I felt like it was over priced for the amount we received. Our waitress was very busy and did the bare minimum. Because the food was good I would go back, but it is a totally different experience than Demos!

We have come here several times on our own, and tonight we brought out of town guests. The food here has always been amazing. We love the quesadillas, both the Thai And Buffalo Chicken are awesome. Since we had company we had dinners tonight and both the steak tips and pork loin were great.
The service here is always good and tonight it was exceptional. De’Anna was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations, as well as a few good jokes. The manager Tiffany was also very attentive checking on us several times. She took time to talk to us about the restaurant and what are impressions were of the restaurant. She talked about the history and asked for our honest opinions.
We will continue to come here because of the caring and genuine staff.

Ok this is so far hands down the best place in Rutherford county. Family owned by a Restaurant Family in Murfreesboro. This is our go to place Monday to Saturday not open on Sunday. Why because you can get an AMEN at Peter D’s and they have to go to church on Sunday. Love it. I have traveled the Nation in my line of work. The service here is the way it should be done. Let me elaborate. Walk in Seated promptly or name taken they do get busy. Moved to your table or booth and meet your Server. Now they do all the normal stuff, they are kind, friendly, take down you order and all. They are also knowledgeable of the menu, team players, and will actually stop and talk to you. Here is the the good part. You glass get low. it gets filled, have a dirty dish it gets taken, leave some trash (sugar or creamer remnants) it gets whisked away. You say seems normal. Ah but all of that was done but not only by your server but every other server in the place. They «All» help wait on you. The team work is brilliant. Don’t believe me you say go and just try it. Take the spent sugar packet set it at the end of the table. Note who picks it up. Then put a dirty dish at the end. They will make you a believer. Peter you make your family proud. Customer for life.
Place: Standalone full scale restaurant. It’s all very nice.
Service: No place better. They could teach all others.
Food: All very good. Breakfast is the hidden gem.
Grab everyone you know and go right now. I mean get moving.

Décor is sort of interesting. Menu is different from any place else in Murfreesboro. Different is not always better. Saw the Ruben on the menu. High praise from our waiter for it. Looking for a good Ruben in town. I am still looking. Was there for a late Saturday lunch. Half price on their Burbon. Good idea until I saw it was just a run of the mill list. I guess if you over price common bourbon you do need a day to try to move some of it. Overpriced common fare seems to be their deal. The banana pudding was good but not $ 6 for about a 3 oz serving. Expect to pay more than you can get at any other restaurant with in a half mile of here.

They just keep getting better! I’ve been a dozen or so times now and I do think they keep improving. I love LOVE the Saturday night brown liquor specials. I can come just for that! I like the 3 pigs n a Chick sammich. Its enough for two meals!!! Wife love the Reuben Fritters. I like the friend green peppers though. So, we get both. They rotate out fresh soups and they are ALWAYS good.

Peter Ds is wonderful! It’s a go to place a quick girls lunch or a weekend breakfast. Service is always good and the food is really good but not great. I usually have one of the burgers or the pimento cheese grilled cheese for lunch, their fries are awesome! I just love the bread they serve their sandwiches on… So fluffy and fresh! If you want a good meal at a good price, which good service, give Peter Ds a try.

Love this place! Amazing food and atmosphere! The staff here are very friendly and really know the menu! Ruben fritters… mouthwatering and if you’re lucky enough for the special to be triggerfish, it is out of this world delicious!!! John was a wonderful waiter who gave honest opinions and quick friendly service. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family

We started out with the Chips and Salsa, nothing special with them. I ordered the deep fried Thanksgiving dinner and it was awesome. Very interesting twist on the whole chicken and dressing dinner. We then finished with their award winning Banana Pudding which was unbelievable!

I enjoy the food and the ambiance is nice. What I don’t enjoy is hidden prices and price gouging from a business. Kids menu prices are ridiculous at 6.99 and also to then charge almost 3.00 for the drink makes your kids meal cost 10. Oh and let’s not forget the menu says cheeseburger but yet on the check they actually charge extra for the so called cheese burger. So in fact by the time all said and done your child has eatin for 11. No other place we eat does my 4 yr old cost even half that for a meal. So to say the least absolute disappointment in your establishment.

Met a colleague for lunch here for the first time. The service was great from the time we stepped in the restaurant. The manager checked on us asking if everything was ok. Place looks cool when you walk in which is nice.
I had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, colleague had the salad with chicken. Both were very good. Will go back and try some other items and cocktails in the future.

Nice family and friendly environment. We did not make a reservation only a 10 min wait not bad for a Saturday night. Started with the Reuben fritters — not a fan of sauerkraut but really enjoyed them. Any thing fried taste good… Catch of the day Asian Sea Bass and it was delicious. The Mediterranean sirloin was ok not much flavor within the meat — tasted beefy, the feta cheese and the tomatoes were the star of that dish. Last but least we had try the banana pudding, very nice you could taste all the applicable flavors.- banana, cookies, pudding and whipped topping. Really a nice restaurant we had a great waitress– Summer & the manager stopped by our table — we will be back much more on the menu to try.

I happened upon Peter D’s with some colleagues while in Murfreesboro for a week of training. This is one of the few bright spots to eat in the area (Medical Center Pkwy area). During the week we ate breakfast here once, lunch twice and dinner three… okay maybe four times (if you count the night we just went for drinks). ;) Even though we tried other nearby places — the pizza shop and a nearby Indian restaurant — we always returned to Peter D’s.
For an hour lunch break the servers were spot on. Lunch was out in a jiffy, was cooked well/​temp, very tasty and the service was awesome! Let me try that last part again — The WAIT STAFF WAS AWESOME. They really worked together well, had positive attitudes and they kind of gave off a family vibe (kidding with each other, etc.) The wait staff treated patrons even better. They were friendly but didn’t linger so long at your table that it became awkward. Hey, we have all had those experiences!
All in all, by the end of the week my new colleagues had become new friends, and I can thank Peter D’s for that! :)
We felt like we tried just about every item on their menu and not one item was a let down.

By far the BEST meal I’ve had in awhile! I had the «D’s Catch of the Day» which was the Asian Sea Bass — YUM O!!!
To top off our meal, our server, Jessica, was AWESOME!!! I have to say, Peter D’s knows customer service as well as delicious food!
Overall, the ambiance, food, service is top notch! I would definitely recommend this place to people. Very reasonable on their prices, too.

Excellent food, but a bit pricey. They have a very eclectic menu, and the quality that the Demos family is known for is definitely there. A lunch for three with no app or dessert came in at $ 75.00 before tip. It was a wonderful lunch and the service was great.

My wife and I went there on a date. They have very good drinks and drink specials. Bourbon special on Sat. night make it worth it. The food was average maybe a little above. The service was ok. My wife went there for breakfast once. I heard the breakfast is the time to go there. I will have to try that some time and report back.

This place is actually pretty good. Kind of hard to find good restaurants outside of downtown Nashville, so I was waiting for this place to open. My boyfriend and I had tried to come here a couple times but the wait time was always crazy so we were never able to try it, until this past Saturday night.
We got there around 8:30, which I think is why there was no wait time. But even that late in the evening, there were still quite a few people. Our waiter (terrible with names, but he had long hair and his wrist was wrapped up like it was sprained or something) was excellent! Very friendly, gave great recommendations, and was very attentive throughout the night.
All day on Saturdays they have half off bottled beer and half off «brown» drinks (whiskey, bourbon, and something else I can’t remember) which is a pretty good deal, considering a Jack and Coke was only like $ 3 after the discount. We opted for the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla for the appetizer, which was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but still good.
For my entrée I went with the Reuben since a lot of people had mentioned that it was one of the best things on the menu. I was pretty impressed. I’ve had quite a few Reubens in my time and the main problem is that the whole sandwich can become a little greasy and soggy. Definitely not the case with this one, which was great. Meat was tender, and the homemade Reuben sauce is excellent. Had sweet potato fries on the side, which were also good. My boyfriend got the Panko Crusted Blue Cheese Burger, which he really enjoyed and had a lot of good things to say about it.
Overall, this place is pretty good and it’s nice to have something a little closer to home rather than traveling to downtown. I’d like to try the brunch they have at some point, so I’m sure I’ll be back here again.

This is our first visit to Peter D’s, My wife and I.
The atmosphere is upscale yet casual with rich wood accents and Old English lighting. It’s a very inviting ambience, warm, social, similiar to an English tavern without the noise.
Our server, Miriah, greeted us very promptly and was extremely knowledgeable, polite and did a fantastic job of guiding us to some of her favorite dishes. Miriah’s attention to detail during service was impeccable and on par with a 5 star restaurant professional.
We choose at Miriah’s guiding the Ruben Omelet and the Cherry Cheese Blintz, with a side of 1 egg and bacon.
The Ruben Omelet was outstanding. A wonderful mix of flavors that complimented each so well we are already planning on coming back a second time for the Ruben sandwich alone. The Ruben sauce is by far the absolute best we’ve tasted in the Nashville area.
The Cherry Cheese Blintz was rich, delicate and absolutely delicious!
The egg was cooked perfectly and the bacon was thin and perfectly crispy.
This has been a very welcome surprise and our new favorite place for breakfast. So much so, we’ve already made plans to come back and try lunch and dinner.
The prices are very reasonable, with the highest priced lunch at $ 10 and the most expensive dinner item is $ 27 for a Cowboy Cut Ribeye.
Portion sizes are more than adequate, even a bit on the large side.
We highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Miriah, she provided the best service experience in the Boro.
A side note: a second server, Tucker came by to clear the table and educated us on the different drinking specials throughout the week. Needless to say, with 2 glasses of wine bought, buys the bottle, We plan to be here on Wed!
