XFINITY Store

The xfinity store on Thompson lane in Murfreesboro is a nightmare. As expected there will always be a long wait, although accompanied by the abrasive demeanor of the staff is a perfect headache recipe. Monica, the employee I was ‘greeted’ by, snatched my modem I was returning from my hand, asked my name, and gave me a receipt with a number. All of this was done with out a hi, hello, or welcome, as well as an absent of «what brings you in today». When I asked for an ETA when id be taken care of, she pointed to the screen listing the waiting customers and told me 11, you’re 11^th In line, then proceeded to look to the next customer. Might I add, it was not busy, and her ‘attention’ was not in high demand.
I will note that I observed other staff members greeting customers and conversing in a respectable
manner. I stress the fact that, Monica gave horrid service, and for Comcast that says a lot.
The rest of staff was inexplicably pleasant.

We went into the Murfreesboro store on N Thompson Lane as we have such poor internet speeds that we figured for $ 15.00 more we can upgrade to faster speeds and at least get something usable. Simple right? Oh so wrong. We got home to find our telephone number had been changed and we received an email from Comcast advising us of $ 150 cancellation charges. We went back into the store the next day, got another ticket and I asked to see a Manager, he said I am the store manager, they will call me over. After explaining to the second person the issue, she called over another service person and neither of them could figure out how to fix it, so I asked them just to put my account back to how it was with my old number before they messed it up. Again she called over another person and told me it’s all sorted. The store manager is out of his depth, he is clueless, the only thing he seems to do is walk around glued to his tablet… got home and received a new bill, It had not been sorted. After calling the head office, speaking with 5 idiots, I ended up emailing the office of Tom Karinshack (comcast complaints) it is the only place you get anything fixed correctly. I cannot believe this company is run the way it is and they hire so many incompetent people. Comcast sure does have the monopoly on hiring idiots. This is by far the worst provider of any service I have ever received. We had cox for 7yrs without a single issue, now we live here it seems to be the worst service area for many things.

I got to their office at 10: am. There were 15 people waiting at door. I was number 16! But it was so organized and I was out of there in 20 minutes. Problem solved. I know I know shocker but just had to brag for once about them!

I wish I could provide a lower score, I have never been provided with worse service than I have received by Comcast. From being hanged up on or having to wade thru the worst phone menu system I have ever had to navigate or to having to wait until 10 for this location to open. I wonder how more people have not completely decided to go with another ISP or cable provider in the middle Tennessee area! I don’t think anyone could be more inept at customer service than these guys! Big time fail. Why in the world do you have a customer service location open at 10 am, just seems so dum to me.

Worst customer service ever. Have been in the store twice and always come out feeling dirty. Can’t even drop off their return merchandise without waiting… waiting…waiting. Get a number at the kiosk!!! Really?!? To drop off your merchandise. «You can just go to the UPS store». Ok, I will, then proudly give them a five and you a one star. Xfinity needs some competition so they can work for the business. Company needs to pay attention to bottom line.

Awful, awful, awful, awful. Service is on par with Pol Pots death squads. Only they don’t use bullets they use ticking clocks. If you want to experience a new benchmark for bad service then by all means try to call the 800 number. The one good thing is there are surveys after every call. Let your sweet revenge fly and payback every one of those blood suckers for the hours they have taken from you!
