History
Established in 2010.
After retiring, we wanted a new career that would promote family bonding in a wholesome, old-fashioned environment. We wanted to pull families out of the computers and get them in the beautiful outdoors of the Smoky Mountains having fun together in a Christian environment. We began developing the property in 2004 by milling our own trees for buildings, benches, tables, the gem mine flume and fencing. With God’s grace, we opened our 1st full season March 2010. We want to Thank our many return guests, and thank our new friends who continue to discover us from yelp, facebook, and the reviews on trip advisor. We love to hear about everyone’s experiences at this unique park since it was a labor of love from start to finish. We hope your family enjoys our place as much as our own family.

Business Owner
My husband Jim and I retired and moved to the Smoky Mountains in 2004 to build an affordable, family fun park that all ages could enjoy. We had a bunch of grandchildren and couldn’t afford to take them to expensive parks, and we knew we were not alone. So we built an affordable park with a family, Christian environment. It took several years for us build using our trees that we milled to maintain a natural, old-fashioned ambiance. Although Jim passed away in 2012, his love for the project is evident throughout the park, and his legacy for bringing joy to others lives on. Our guests can enjoy the park whether they bring $ 3 or $ 30. We’re pet friendly and have a free playground and picnic area along with a welcoming attitude. With no admission fee, you don’t have to spend a fortune to have a great day. The memories that have been made and will be made continue to be a wonderful tribute to WagonMaster Jim
