After having tastings the last three years at our Vineyard Estate in Angels Camp, we are now ready and waiting to serve up some delicious vino here on ‘The Miracle Wine Mile’ or ‘Main Street Wine Crawl’ or the like… Mineral Wines now makes 12 different wines including estate grown Merlot, Petite Sirah, Viognier, and Roussanne… plus Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Barbera, Tempranillo, Syrah, Zinfandel, and Meritage… all made from 100% Calaveras County grapes! Come see what the buzz is all about!

History

Established in 2009.

Mineral Wines was founded in 2009 by the Henkel and Keller families, who grow grapes at the Cherokee Creek Vineyard in Angels Camp. Brett Keller, our winemaker, has been making wine in Calaveras County since 2003, when he graduated with a B.S. Degree in Enology and Viticulture degree from Fresno State University.

We source grapes from our Estate Vineyard, first planted in 1993 and from other vineyards in Calaveras County. We are in the process of building a winery on the estate, and as production grows we will continue to focus primarily on Mediterranean and Bordeaux Grape Varietals.

The Mineral brand is a cuvee of our passion for wine and our love for gemstones and minerals in their natural state. Each of our labels highlight minerals from our collection, captured in watercolor by renown artist, Frederick Wilda. We are new in Murphys, so we invite you to give us a try!
