We also offer a variety of Fair Trade products from around the world, and a wide assortment of gift items and books in keeping with our tea and vintage themes. I adored this little tea shop so much that I decided to create a Unilocal account just so I can rave about it. The shop is absolutely adorable and the customer service was great! I most definitely will be coming back next time the family and I stop in Murphey’s.

Usually don’t shop at places like this, but poked my head in while on a wine tasting crawl, which I’m sure is how they get most of their customers. Some of the typical joke-​y and cute-​sy novelty items your 55-​year old teacher would like («It’s Wine-O’Clock!» sorta junk), but also an extensive selection of teas and cool tea accessories that were actually fairly priced!
I got some english breakfast that was actually in a really cool copper-​lined tin, which I plan to re-​use for pen storage or maybe a little vase. I typically buy Tetley in bulk, so it’s nice to occasionally splurge! They were offering samples of this really delicious and light white floral tea, lovely even though it was a hot day. Samples is a great feature and I hope a regular one! Both staff ladies were totally sweet, and one came out to happily explain different steeping tools and features for loose leaf. You can tell they enjoy what they do!

Wouldn’t think of going to Murphy without a stop at Tea an’Tiques ! Darcy and the ladies who work for her are not only wonderful and knowledgeable but also very helpful. Darcy just sent me in the mail, IN THE MAIL… like …the slow kind ! an article on brewing iced tea! How many people would do that in a day and age when everything thing has to be NOW… or never!!!

I absolutely love everything about this store. I have been coming here for years and always find something. They have some really unique items you won’t find anywhere else and great teas. The service is always friendly and welcoming. It’s one of my favorite places.

My sister-​in-​law had us stop in during our trip to Murphys. She is obsessed with tea cups made by someone named Franz. Supposedly they only mint so many & then break the mold. Well, these things aren’t exactly my cup of tea… pun intended. My sister-​in-​law was quite happy with her $ 140 purchase… for ONE cup! This place is all frills, lace and froo-​froo. It reminds me of tea time at my great Nana’s house in New Zealand, minus the best part, biscuits and scones. Maybe they had some hiding, but I didn’t see any through all of the Rose patterned items. 4 stars because it really delivers on the stereotypical tea time. But minus a star because it is stereotypical tea time.

As a tea lover, this store felt like Disneyland. I had all but too much fun roaming around and seeing all the beautiful pieces lovingly placed throughout the store. I purchased three teas which are all fabulous (highly recommend the TeaForte Coconut Chai Late). The store owner was incredibly knowledgeable about the brands and her recommendations suited me well. She made my visit all the more enchanting. I purchased a vintage teacup and saucer for a ridiculously low price of $ 25 and I’ve used it everyday since. I could write five more paragraph telling you how great this place is, but you should just go experience it for yourself!

Such friendly service and so helpful. I asked if they had the Tulsi Indian tea I had been looking for and the woman was very knowledgeable of her stock and merchandise. She gave me tips on steeping and best ways of making a good batch of a Tulsi iced tea. Very happy with the experience. I’ll return if I’m in the area.

Tea An’ Tiques manages to combine a personal and cozy tea shop with an absolutely massive selection of teas. It always seems to be one or the other, but the dozens of tea types and friendly shopkeeper seal the deal.
Best of all, the prices manage to be even cheaper than Amazon! I’m still a coffee aficionado to the end, but this place doesn’t offer a bad alternative when I’m craving a different kind of brew.

A must stop shop tea lovers and those who just like cute things! I stopped in 10 minutes before closing time on Christmas Eve and the owner was super sweet… trying not to rush me a but. I picked up some super cute magnets and note pads… as I already had bought some tea that day. I’ll definitely be back next time I am in Murphys!!!

Looking for charming, unique, eclectic gift shop… antique shop… tea shop… right on Main Street Murphy’s!?! A must see is Tea an’ tiques! Darcy is the owner and has done a great job of filling her shop with all kinds of interested tea and gifts, housed in antiques for sale. Belly up to the tea bar to try one of an assortment of teas and then sit outside on a cute, charming patio and watch all the Main Street activity. They even have an accredited tea specialist, if you are serious about your tea! A must see if your visiting Murphy’s.

This is my first time in this historic town of Murphy. I stopped at this little tea shop on Main street and the staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I purchased the Tea Forte brand coconut chai tea. So good! I also purchased a mini tin of hand rolled jasmine peal tea. Smelled like heaven in a can. Can’t wait to taste it! This town is very quaint and cozy. I’m glad I got to visit on memorial day weekend. If your stopping through Murphy and love tea this is the shop to visit! Two thumbs up!

One of my favorite places downtown Murphys. The chocolate mint tea is to die for. The owner is also very nice and helpful and some of the dog products such as towels and china go to support sick dogs.

Fantastic tea store, with a great selection of teas. The owner was very helpful and full of suggestions about teas to try based on my tea preferences. I left with a pine-​smoked Earl Grey on her recommendation. This will definately keep me coming back to Murphys!

While exploring the quaint little town of Murphys I stumbled upon this cozy place. I’m not really big in drinking expensive tea (except for the ones I’ve picked up in Hawaii) but I couldn’t resist while I walked around the store. The owner is really nice and helpful. I waited for the hubby who was wine tasting next door and picked up a couple of tea bags to try and also bought one of those tea cup shape thingys to set your used tea bags on. We sat in the little patio and enjoyed our tea and then later bought 2 tins of the same tea (didn’t know we get a free tea with it). The are about to do some work in the patio according to the owner. My only suggestion is to replace the white rusted metal bistro set and perhaps replace it with at least 3 new sets to make the patio more inviting for costumers. The one she has now is wobbly and the metal is no longer attached together. It is difficult to set a hot cup of tea on it since it isn’t stable. It is a potential hazard for spilling and burning yourself.

I love finding quaint little shops like this. While wandering around Murphy’s on a rainy Wednesday (what’s up with most of the restaurants being closed on Wednesdays???), my husband noticed the yellow door, leading to the shop. It’s really cute, if you like to collect tea cups, tea pots, and antiques. The place isn’t «Chachki», either. The tea selections are impressive. While I love tea, I’m not an expert. The owner was über friendly and totally helpful. The store is very nicely merchandised. She has a tea bar (see photos), where you can buy a cup of tea for $ 2.00, freshly brewed. I love Jasmine tea, so she showed us how the tea leaves were hand-​folded and explained how it was made. You can tell that the owner is really passionate about her business. I liked her enthusiasm. On the way back to Angel’s Camp (hungry, no less, since any decent restaurants weren’t open), I sipped my tea. I’m returning tomorrow to buy a supply of it, as it was so delicious! Even my husband enjoyed browsing, though the place is very girlie– the owner even has a «many section», which I thought was a nice touch. Hopefully, it will be sunny tomorrow, so we can enjoy sipping on tea in her cute little garden. Pop in, the next time you are in Murphy’s. I’m sure you’ll receive a cheerful hello and try out a tea. I even learned how to steep it properly. If only she could serve finger sandwiches and scones– wow, that’ would be great!

This place was kinda funky and cute and quaint. My grandma would probably dig this place A LOT. So if you’re a grandma or you have a grandma that likes stuff like this, try shopping here. Expensive tea seats, fancy teas, etc. Worth stopping in…

I don’t usually like shops like this one but it does have a certain flair to it. Not only has a lot of different kinds of tea to buy but a lot of very old items. The kind of things you would find at an auction sale of some person who is about 90 years old and has to sell their belongings to pay for a hospital bill.
Anyway there are alot of very nice items in this store for sale, items that I would be interested in purchasing if I has a place in my already crowded home to put them.

Tea for two and two for tea…
Tea an’tiques is a charming shop located in downtown Murphys. You can take tea with your friends and then browse the wares. They carry a nice selection of fair trade items such as jewelry and even some eco-​friendly items like a bowl made out of a vinyl record.
My sister, her friend and I passed through this while wine tasting for a charity benefit. The things we will do for charity… Anyway, my sister’s friend developed a horrible case of hiccups that would not stop. Too much wine perhaps? The shop keeper could not help but notice this poor girl’s plight and suggested taking a spoonful of sugar, just like Mary Poppins. She offered the sugar and low and behold, no more hiccups! How sweet is that?
I would love to return to enjoy a cup of hot tea and do a little shopping. Hopefully without a case of the hiccups. ;)
