History

Established in 2015.

Nobori Auto is the evolution of 1024 Motorsports, originally founded in Denver, CO in 2010. The company was started in a small garage, with a few tools and a dream of offering something better. From that small idea grew a company which offers highly rated parts and services.

Nobori Auto is rooted in the belief of trust, which is why I offer a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on repairs. We all rely on our vehicles to get us from one place to another, which is why they need to be treated right.

Before knowing much about automotive maintenance and repair, I was ripped off many times when bringing my car to various repair facilities. When I founded Nobori Auto, I wanted to change all of that by creating a clean, trustworthy environment with a shared interest in keeping you happy.

Business Owner

I am Sean Merrill, originally from central New Jersey. I grew up frequently helping my brothers with their project cars and listening to my dads car stories.

As the years passed and I began driving, I followed suit in my interest of cars, now with my first car, a ’99 maxima.

From that time on, no car was just a means of transportation. I was hooked, and there was no turning back. Later, I went on to join the Marine Corps in 2008 as a diesel mechanic, where I gained a greater understanding of mechanics, which fueled my passion.

Over the years, I have owned many Japanese cars, driving my love for them. I credit my successes in life to my wife Darilyn, my family, and to my faith and religion. I am excited to start a new chapter in my life, with the opening of Nobori Auto in Salt Lake City, UT.
