Solar systems are expensive. Likewise, they are long term investments with warranty periods of 20 years. It was my view that the company installing this expensive equipment needed to be professionals. Highest quality for the lowest price was the objective my installation. My objectives were exceeded with DEC.
DEC has installed solar panels at three different homes under one contract for me. Each job was fairly difficult in both logistics and complexity. Two involved panel replacement, one involved running new power from SDGE. In all cases, John Large and the DEC team demonstrated great care and diligence in their work. One measure of companies quality is their ability to adapt to problems found on the job site (there will always be issues!). Whether it be problem-​some inspectors or material shortages, DEC responded professionally and dependably to insure the job was completed right. Their responses to obstacles were consistently Customer satisfaction-​centric. A real pleasure to work with. I would contract them again for another job without hesitation.
