i-Care Urgent Care

This was my first time going to this place and I only came here because of the reviews SICK PEOPLE BEWARE! I went there on Sunday because I was feeling really sick, high fever, ear ache, coughing, body aches and could hardly speak. The staff was friendly, had me sign some papers and off I went to the waiting area. Once I got to see the doctor he came in and asked how I was feeling, we went over all the symptoms and he quickly looked over me. When he asked to see my throat he said it was red but not as red as other people, what does that have to do with me? He said I needed rest and fluids and needed to buy allergy medicine like Zyrtec. Ummm, I’m no doctor, but I know this is not allergies. I finally went to my doctor and turns out I did have an ear infection and I have bronchitis. He couldn’t believe I was seen and was told to leave with no treatment. I was very disappointed in the services of the physician here!

By far the best experience I’ve had in an urgent care. The staff are very friendly and professional. Since it was my first visit here, I was expecting to spend a lot of time on paper work. The forms were simple and only asked for pertinent information. I was in and out in less than one hour.

BEST URGENT CARE EVER!!! I had to run my daughter in for a visit! I came in and what do my eyes see!!! Nobody in the waiting area!!! We are new to the area and I honestly have never seen such a beautiful sight in an urgent care setting! Years ago I worked in an urgent care so I know how crazy it can get! With that said, this urgent care has some of the most caring people working there! The young lady in the front was so nice & welcoming! Alvin was incredibly pleasant! The P.A. great and so was the Doctor! I really liked how clean it was including the bathroom! They have free wifi (that I couldn’t use because I didn’t have to wait) they also had a keurig!!!
Thank you for such a wonderful experience, I was honestly bracing myself for a long wait! :)

I would recommend this place to anyone & everyone.
Wait time was 25 – 30 minutes max & once in a room I was seen immediately.
From the girls in the front office so welcoming to a very clean waiting room.
The nurse assistant that checked me in to the nurse practitioner that accessed me.
Never have been to an Urgent Care & even though I feel horribly sick it was a please T experience.

1^st time here. Jennifer in front desk quickly gave us a nice welcome .& got forms as soon as i turned them in got called in right away. So far fastest service for an Urgent care!. Young male PA was super friendly. New Intern was helpful & once Doctor came in she was really nice. caring and friendly .got chest X ray. and shot.Rx antibiotics & inhaler. We will definatelly come back!

Absolutely amazing service!!! Brought our 17yr old daughter (who’s more like a 2yr old when sick) in on a sat morn… she caught the nasty influenza bug going around:(Although the place was packed, they saw us in a reasonable time… but because we did wait a while, they gave us Starbucks cards!!! Yessss now that’s customer service lol I would definitely recommend & will prob return at some point. For the non-​sick, they provide coffee & water in the waiting room… way to keep it classy I-​Care!!!

Okay I’m thinking this might be a little bit of a hit and miss type of review… when I went in on Saturday I was told to call back during the week if I felt that the antibiotics were not strong enough, so this afternoon I called and I was told that I would get a callback from a doctor by end of business. It’s after hours now and I can’t get a hold of anybody and I didn’t get A call back. I am impressed with the doctors and the nurses but not with the support staff.

Came here on a Sunday absolutely sick as can be. Could barely speak to even tell the front desk girl what was wrong with me. The front desk employees were very friendly and attentive and let me know they do accept Kaiser insurance on Sunday’s which was perfect timing. Everything from the check in to the time I was in front of the Nurse Practitioner was a 5-​star experience.
The reason I am giving just 2 stars however is because the nurse practitioner that saw me (a female) incorrectly told me that I was suffering from allergies. Even after I told her that I had the worst sore throat I’ve experienced, could barely even talk, and had a slight fever, her only diagnosis was allergies. I told her that I suffer from allergies pretty much throughout the year and what I was experiencing at the moment was NOT allergies. I was experiencing something that in my opinion was either a virus or bacterial infection due to all the combined symptoms. Either way, the NP insisted it was allergies and told me to just pick up some Flonase and Claritin and I should be ok. I double checked with her that for my extremely painful sore throat she wanted me to take Flonase and she confirmed again that since the sinuses drain to the throat it was the sinuses causing the soreness. So I accepted her opinion and left.
After I left I got a call from someone there who said the Nurse Practitioner also wanted to prescribe me Prednisone which she never mentioned during the visit. Maybe she had a change of heart after I left? Anyway, the following day I went to see a Dr in my HMO since I didn’t think allergies were the problem and it turns it I had Bronchitis and Laryngitis. Slightly different than allergies I’d say.
Overall I thought the customer service here was excellent. Very attentive staff and the employees were all friendly. I’m afraid that due to the poor diagnosis I can’t really recommend this clinic to anyone since an accurate diagnosis is the most important part of a doctors visit.

Just want to let you all know how great my experience with icare urgent care off Clinton Keith has been lately! I went in last week with a big swollen, painful, infected ear (not the typical ear infection though, it was in my outer ear rather than inner) Anyway, the entire staff from reception, nurse Brandon and Dr Steele were so great. After blood tests Brandon called me back with results, leaving me messages to come back for more. I am terrible at answering my phone so they called my emergency contact last night (my husband) and let him know how important it was I came back asap. Brandon made sure to call me again this morning to remind me. Dr. Steele wasn’t in today, but Brandon was communicating with him while I was there, sending him info and getting advice from him. He even asked if he could take a picture of the progress and send it to dr Steele (which I had no problem with!) I have never ever been a fan of going to the doctors as I usually feel like a number, not a person, but I trust these guys! They remembered me, cared about me while off the clock and weren’t your typical «what seems to be the problem today» medical staff! I strongly recommended this place!

WORST… I’ll never go back! Go in because I’m coughing so hard now it’s blood & green; and my throat is on fire, but according to PA, I’m fine! Seriously? Did u NOT hear me wheeze or notice that I had a hard time taking deep breaths? Oh yeah, I forgot u were too busy prescribing me medication that I’m allergic to!!! And don’t forget the snobs up front who are so rude they talk about u & forget u can hear them!

After seeing their high reviews I decided to go I-​Care Urgent Care instead of my neighborhood’s urgent care which only have average of 2 stars. Surprisingly no long lines and not long waiting before seeing a physician. Dr. Brewer was very professional and personable physician. The assistant (Brandon) was very nice too who also gave me the flu vaccine. The place was clean more roomier than most private physicians office. I hope I-​Care Urgent Care will keep their quality service and desirable place for many years to come.

I’m gonna go ahead and give this place a 5! I worked at a few urgent cares in area back in my day, won’t mention them on here but this experience was FAR better than I’ve ever seen /​experienced. I live out of town now and went in for allergies and an oncoming cold, I got seen within 20 minutes and out within 40, the provider listened to all my needs /​concerns. Confirmed that is was just allergies but gave me an RX for antibiotic just in case it developed into something more to prevent a second apportionment. If your PCP can’t fit you in I highly recommend icare!

What a great experience I had with Dr. Tim Gedney at i-​Care Urgent Care! I thought for sure I had appendicitis, having just had it 5 months ago, and because I don’t have health insurance, I really, really didn’t want to have to go the ER for surgery (VERY EXPENSIVE!), so I wanted to first try and treat it with antibiotics. I literally called about 10 other urgent care facilities prior to calling i-​Care to see if they would see me for my «appendicitis,» but none would, stating that I had to go straight to the hospital. But i-​Care said they would see me and were open to treating my alleged appendicitis with antibiotics.
Within 10 minutes I was seen by a doctor, Dr. Gedney. Basically no wait! Dr. Gedney wasn’t so sure I had appendicitis, so he ordered an x-​ray, which fortunately was included in the price of the visit! The x-​ray showed constipation, and he concluded that I probably didn’t have appendicitis! The best part, however, was that Dr. Gedney was willing to give me the prescription for antibiotics to treat appendicitis just in case I took a turn for the worst and really needed them, but insisted I not use them and try a laxative first, which I did. Sure enough, within a few days, I was all better, and never had to go onto the antibiotics!
I’m very grateful to Dr. Gedney for 1) being willing to listen to what I THOUGHT I needed and provide me with a backup plan (the antibiotics), but 2) not letting me take them until we were sure I needed them. And it turns out I didn’t! SOOOO glad I didn’t go straight to the ER, as that would have been a very expensive medical visit for just constipation!
In summary, great facility, great staff, no wait. Yes, at $ 125 with no insurance for a visit, it’s a little pricey compared to other Urgent Cares in the area that run $ 75 – 90, but I think the included x-​ray made up for that, and Dr. Gedney and i-​Care saved me a ton of money, seeing me when no one else would, versus going to the hospital. He listened to how I felt, gave me excellent and correct medical advice that worked, and provided me with what I thought I «needed,» just in case! So, so, so grateful, and so very happy! Thank you, Dr. Gedney and i-​Care!

We have been to icare urgent care a handful of times with things such as cuts, sore throats and other illnesses. This urgent care is always fast, clean and efficient. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and you never wait in the waiting room for more than 20 minutes (in my experience)
I highly recommend this urgent care for all of your medical needs.

So pleased with our experience at I-​Care! I took my son in for a simple sports physical, no apt necessary (that always is frightening with doctors offices, you could potentially waste a whole lotta time there)… Well not at I-​Care… We were in and out within ²⁰⁄₂₅ minutes tops. THANK YOU!
Starting as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the friendly receptionist, she got us all set up and I paid for the exam (which was significantly less than our personal doctors office). Within a couple of minutes my son was called back for his vitals and what nots. Once vitals were done the doc was there and ready to go. He was great! Throughout the exam the doctor explained everything he was doing and looking for. He asked my son if he had any concerns or questions. He prescribed hydrate and sunscreen for his upcoming Cross Country season. Which I love as a runner myself I know the importance of self care… And I know teenagers need constant reminders about that sort of thing.
The office was clean, comfortable and inviting. I would absolutely recommend I-​Care! They are doing great things there. By far the best experience with a doctors office I’ve ever had.

The good: office is clean, staff is friendly, short wait time and is conveniently located right off the freeway.
The bad: it’s $ 125 if you don’t have insurance… $ 125!!.
We took our toddler here, she had different kind of symptoms for over 10 days so we were concerned. The doctor came in and only checked her ears. When he tried to checked her mouth she cried and he stop and said «babies are so difficult».
Then he crossed his arms and after 4 – 5 mins of quietly staring at use he said «something is bothering her, I wonder what?».
I mean seriously?! that’s why I paid $ 125, for you to tell me what’s bothering! You are the doctor. He then told us, «I’ll be here all weekend if anything comes up call us and come see me.»
When we called 2 days later because she developed a rash they told us we couldn’t speak with the doctor and if we wanted to see him again it would cost us another $ 125.
Needless to say we were so disappointed, specially after reading all the positive reviews. Will not go back here.

Absolutely great experience here. Efficient, very friendly staff. Dr. Brewer spent significant time with me understanding the issues and thoroughly explained treatment options.
Spotlessly clean and well organized.
Cheerful, kid-​friendly environment.
Highly recommend.

In the last couple of month’s we’ve had the unfortunate opportunity to utilize the services of this business twice. Once for the wife, the other for the three-​year old grandson.
Both visits were excellent. Nice clean facility, plenty of toys to entertain kidlets, and competent medical input.
Very glad that this place is around. Will probably return, unfortunately…
