Absolutely the best service ever. I will never go anywhere else. I called beforehand and was told there was no wait. I arrived and was greeted by a friendly lady and was taken care of immediately. No hassles, no wait, reasonable cost. I highly recommend this place.

Fast and professional. In and out for my smog check. They ran this place like a well oiled machine and while I was filling out the paperwork they took my keys and started the smog. Waited about 20 mins for the whole experience.

Great service. I was recommended by an Auto Body shop and am so grateful. The girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I was able to get my vehicle smog checked and registration and tags paid for there on the spot. Took all of maybe 15 minutes. I have referred many people here and all have had a great experience.

Not sure what there problem was, but they flat out refused to smog my truck. They thought I was trying to cheat or something. They said I did an engine swap because the sticker under the hood said the engine should be a 5.9L, and the truck had a 5.2L. I explained to the kid that was doing the test that the hood was from the junk yard because mine had flew open on the fwy and was bent beyond repair. He then said he could just tell the engine was not original telling me it shouldn’t have aluminium valve covers. He had to drive the truck over to where his boss was in another unit to get his opinion. He came back and said his boss said to not do the test. The kid said I could go talk to him if I wanted to. I was pretty mad by this point. So I went to find him. He said the kid was «uncomfortable» testing it so they weren’t going to. He added as further evidence that my truck had a K&N filter CARB sticker but it didn’t have the filter. The reason for that was I sold the filter years ago. He boss and the kid both had attitudes and I felt accused of doing something wrong and probably illegal, when all I was doing was trying to smog my truck.

I called prior to going. The friendly girl on the phone said there was no wait, and it was first come first serve. I showed up with an 11 year old stock diesel truck. They took I right in. I honestly could say before I sat down and went through my smart phone emails, they were done. Maybe 15 min max. I’ve never been to any automotive service place and gone through that fast.

Great service all the employees were great took me five times to get my Vette to pass they were a great help in and out every time even when I showed up 10min before closing! I’ll be taking all my cars back here!

Fast and Speedy Service. I took our 2005 Prius in for its first smog test (under the new hybrid vehicle law) and was out in under ten minutes. I can’t imagine an easier process. I will be going back with other vehicles as their time comes. The business is located in the very rear of the commercial property, and is a little hard to find, but there are signs pointing the way. I received a discount for mentioning that I found the business on Unilocal

This smog shop is by far the fastest smog shop to get in and get out without waiting. Always friendly service and pleasant experience!

Nothing but good thoughts and feelings about this place. The crew is young and personable. The service is fast and efficient. No hidden charges, unlike the neighbor competitor next door on Pear. That dude is unscrupulous and needs the Bureau of Automotive Repair to put this guy on the right track. Beware of him, he is a rip off artist. There is a reason his business doesn’t identify the company name. Jefferson is fair and honest. They have an internet special coupon to print out and use, $ 40, one and done. I highly reccommend this hidden gem.

Veteran friendly establishment. Always respectful and they are all about getting you in and out. I trust them unlike other test centers that will take your money knowing before they start that they will be failing you for a check engine light. Highly recommended for your smog testing needs!

I went there for the first time to get a smog test and oil change. They told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour which was perfectly fine because I had someone to pick me up. Three hours later I came back and my car still wasn’t done. They apologized for the wait and truly felt bad for the delay. I give them a 3 stars for the inconvenience.

SUPER FAST AND IT PASSED! I went to AAA to renew my registration. I got there at 4:20pm. After paying, they said my vehicle needed to be smogged before I would receive the updated sticker. I left there at 4:30pm, drove straight to Jefferson Smog. I was in and out of there in minutes and back at AAA by 4:55pm. Got my sticker before they closed at 5:00pm! SUPER FAST AND IT PASSED! I never go anywhere else, I’ve taken at least 4 or 5 vehicles here since 2011.

Just moved to the area and I’m happy to have looked at Unilocal to find out where to go! I chose Jefferson Smog Test Only Center because of such great reviews and they did not disappoint, .I came in right as they were opening. There was a gentleman getting his vehicle done and although I was the next person, it was not a long wait! I walked right in, filled out paperwork and my minivan was inspected in just 5 minutes! Makes it even better when I’m lugging a 4 year old around! I highly recommend Jefferson Smog Test Only Center! They are professional, friendly and the place to go. The next time we have to get a smog done on either of our vehicles, we will be coming back here. Just make sure you go all the way to the back since there is another smog place in the front!

Great, friendly service. Great prices. went in for a smog at lunch and got out in under 20 minutes! No wait or line or anything. The man at the front (I think the owner) is a class act.
I’ll definitely be back for future auto needs. They also have great oil change prices too!

I have been coming here with my two cars every year for the last 10 years. The service from reception to inspection is always courteous, friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

The whole smog process couldn’t have been easier. Called to ask if I needed an appointment and the person who helped me was super nice — walk ins totally welcome and they had an online coupon for 10 $ off the service. Rad. I show up after work and they finish the smog in seriously five minutes. They submit the paper work to the dmv and that’s it. So easy. Everyone there was so nice. Thanks guys — you’re the best! There are legitimately so many smog places in this area and I’m really glad I chose this one.

In and out in about 10 minutes. Really nice staff that honored the out the door price quoted over the phone. It’s nice to deal with a good local business that treats you like they care! Definitely recommend this place for your smog checks.

Came in today around 11:40 for a smog check and was out by 11:55 the customer service was great and there was no wait what so ever I definitely recommend Jefferson smog for anyone looking for a quick and legit smog test.

I CANNOT explain how amazing Jefferson Smog has been in helping my used car department at work when our own smog machine takes a dump… I can literally drive over as many as 3 cars at one time, and they get them all done within an hour!
While the wait definitely won’t be long, the only downside is that it can definitely get crowded in their office during a busy time or weekend… but regardless, the service and efficiency at Jefferson Smog is top notch, for sure!
