Specialties

We offer respite care for care givers caring for memory impaired clients. (Those suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia). Licensed, secure, beautiful, we include a social program, nutrition and restaurant catered lunches. Licensed to do medication assistance, incontinent care, modified diets. We are a wonderful cost effective alternative to assisted living without the sleepover. The people that use our program are spouses of clients that need a break or want socialization for their loved one, or children of clients who work all day and need cost effective licensed care for their parent.

History

Established in 2009.

Lillibet’s Place opened in response to an expressed need for good licensed care and respite to families caring for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease or other related dementias. This need developed out of the caregiver support groups the owner, Elizabeth W. offers in the community.

Business Owner

My grandmother’s nickname for me was ‘Lillibets’. It is in her honor and my privilage to offer compassionate care to individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s or other related dementia diseases. I have been in the health care industry for almost 25 years, over 17 of those years in the senior care industry. My educational background includes Sociology, Healthcare Administration and Theology. I facilitate four caregiver support groups in the community and am on the Speaker’s Bureau for the Alzheimer’s Association, frequently doing educational workshops and seminars in the community. I offer counceling and resources to families, free of charge. I am a state vendor to conduct continuing and initial educational classes to RCFE Administrators and do business consulting for Board and Care and Assisted Living Facilities. I have a wonderful caring staff and we absolutely love what weI do!
