This place was awesome and the women there are so nice and helpful. So many beautiful quilts to admire and gain inspiration from. There is so much to look at I need to go back to see what I missed!

Can’t say enough about my first trip to this shop! I was a die-hard fan of Primitive Gatherings from my purchases at their booth at the Road to CA Expo. I didn’t realize until this last visit to the show that they had moved to CA! Shop is unbelievably well organized and the staff is tremendously helpful. Love their selection of wool and Valdini cotton thread. Signed up for a class and was offered the convenience of ordering the items I needed for the class(they had sold out recently). I just moved out from Orange County to the I.E. and was so excited to have found my new ‘go-to’ quilt shop for purchases and classes! I’d highly recommend making a trip over — you won’t be disappointed. By the way, my husband came with me and we stopped at the 8-Bit Brewery across the street(the signage caught his eye) as we left Primitive Gatherings. The food there(and beer) was wonderful so it makes for a nice afternoon date if you’re out together!

I just had a wonderful first visit! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The fabrics range from primitive and reproduction to some a bit more modern like batiks. The pattern collection is extensive including Lisa Bongeans’, Timeless Traditions and so many others. There are kits for quilts and felted wool projects like penny rugs. But my personal favorite was the huge selection of felted wools! They come in all different sizes and all different colors. There is so much inspiration contained in that store, it will draw be back again and again!

This shop is just a few months old. They carry a wide selection of older traditional looking fabrics and wool for quilting. There were many pattern and kits available. It appears that they have a longarm in the shop so perhaps they also do quilting there as well. If you want to recreate a quilt pattern that gives a very antique look this would be a fine shop to visit. The staff isn’t interactive so you need to ask if you have questions about the goods. There was a small class area in the back that looks like it may seat 20.
