Shout out to Chris Byers at the Auto EMT! Needed brakes — he came to my office in the AM, figured out what I needed, ordered the parts and came back in the afternoon and completed the job in under an hour — all while I was able to stay at work and not be sitting in a smelly mechanic’s shop or giving up my weekend time. I will definitely be calling on Chris in the future.

Quick & Fair Priced — Car just stopped working to some degree, called Chris and he came same day. Within about ten minutes my car was diagnosed. Part was ordered on the spot and installed conveniently while I was at work the next day. Excellent Service, Chris shared his knowledge and explained the problem, cause and solution. Will be referring Auto EMT to friends and family.

The owner, clearly an experienced mechanic, was able to quickly diagnose a few issues I was having with my SUV. He arranged for the parts and I was back on the road in no time. I would recommend the services provided by this company to my friends, family, and neighbors.

If I could give –5 stars I would! Don’t let all of the «reviews» posted by Chris’s family and friends fool you, this man is a prick and a total crook!
Chris «fixed» (replace my drivers side wheel barring and ABS sensor) my 2011 Ford Focus last July of last year, my car was fine for about a day and then my ABS sensor was back on, Chris came back and said he replaced the ABS which was back on the next day (Chris even said via Facebook text to me that the part you used was missing an ABS ring… This is after everything of course!) but, he assured me that the light being on wasn’t going to affect the drive of my car and it wasn’t a «big deal» as he said so I trusted him MY MISTAKE and let it go! Fast forward 10 months I talked Chris about my car shaking AGAIN and the ABS that was still on, he said he would fix it but, my unborn baby wasn’t doing well so I cancelled and then he cancelled to go on vacation and I never heard back from him when he got back… Like he said he would.
Now here we are in August 2015 I made a 100 mile trip to see my family in LA. While there I went to have my breaks done at my family’s trusted mechanic (where I should have just gone in the first place) and the mechanic there told me that my wheel barring was all messed up and CHEAP AFTER MARKET parts were used on my car and not only that but, was the WRONG piece and was completely missing the ABS sensor all together!
After speaking to Chris and asking for a refund for is poor work which, at first he wasn’t going to do because I let someone else fix it (I had no choice being 8 months pregnant and having a 3 year old I wasn’t going to drive the 100 miles back knowing what terrible shape my car was in) because he knew that he didn’t use good part and knows that he didn’t know what he was doing and completely lied about the ABS! He was EXTREMELY RUDE and HOSTILE and made me drive 30 min + each time, out of my way to return the parts to him and then refund me after I asked to meet half way which was nice on my part considering how verbal abusive this man was to me and he’s the reason my car was messed up!
Long story short. He didn’t even refund me the full amount 525 I paid him originally or the 414 (that’s what it cost me to have it TRULY fixed out in LA) I only got 300 $ for a refund for parts!!!

Chris and Jeremy were both great! Chris came out and quickly diagnosed the problem with my van and scheduled the repairs. Jeremy came the next morning and did the repairs. Jeremy did the repairs in a hour. He was great. Was thrilled to find a mechanic that would come to our house. With kids it is very difficult sometimes to get your car into a repair shop. The cost was comparable to any place you would bring it to. Would highly recommend The Auto EMT and Chris and Jeremy. Thank you for great service.

Chris came to our house, was on time and thorough. Didn’t have to wait for other vehicles, worry about someone having to pick us up or drop us off let alone wait. No upselling. Diagnosed our vehicle properly, where we went prior was inaccurate. Saved us $ 500+. We trust him. I would recommend him to everyone.

Chris is the best! My transmission was acting funky and I called around and he was able to come out asap! Turns out I needed to rebuild my transmission, had a coolant leak, and also needed new front breaks. Chris had great prices as well! When I came home to my car this afternoon to my surprise he had washed it and it looks BEAUTIFUL and runs amazing!!! Thank you so much Auto Emt!

Chris is really an awesome mechanic and person. He recently did a ton of work on my beloved Golf that I’ve owned for 13 years. I needed tune-​up, oil change, clutch, breaks and other maintenance work. Chris came to my house and spent a full day working on my car. He was so efficient and professional throughout. His prices were fair and the work was impeccable. He gave my carrito a few more months if not years of life.

This was my first time using Chris. They were able to get my front brakes replaced in under an hour. He wants to do things the right way and takes pride in his work. I’ll be calling him again.

Great experience with auto emt. Chris was very helpful and thorough. I had a belt replaced, an alternator installed, and a radiator leak diagnosed and repaired. His rates are reasonable and he cleans up after the job. I have a 2004 BMW 545I and he had no problems working on this vehicle. I would highly recommend Chris to others as Chris literally saved me over a $ 1000 if the dealer would have repaired. Where else can you get a mechanic come to you for repairs and maintenance? This is strictly convenience to the consumer. Thank you Auto EMT!

There’s no need to find your way to an auto repair shop when the entire repair «shop» can come to you! Chris Byers (the owner of The Auto EMT) is a genius for coming up with this awesome idea!
The Auto EMT came to my rescue when my car needed some major fixing! My car has been shaky when I’m driving and it turns out something was wrong with all 4 of my wheels. All four bearings were super old and bad. I went to PepBoys to get an estimate, and they told me with parts & labor it would cost me up to $ 500-​$ 600. Yikes! I called up Chris and he was able to fix all my wheels for me for $ 400! Not only that, but he saved me so much time by going to my work place and fixed my car while I was at work! How awesome is that?! He was able to fixed everything, however, my old hub assembly didn’t want to go with the new bearing he had put in, so he came back the very next morning at my work place and replaced a new hub assembly for me FREE of charge! He also gave me a new brake rotor, too!
Seriously, guys, if you’re looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, GO CALL CHRIS BYERS! He’s always on call and will drive all over the Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee area to service you! He’s seriously a life saver!

I’ve used Chris, The Auto EMT for oil changes, belt replacement, alternator replacement, door opener repair, spring and shock replacement and even taking out my transmission and getting it rebuilt. And he’s come to my house to do it!
He’s been quick to give me service and everything he has done has been thorough and done right the first time. His prices have been very fair and I’d highly recommend his service. In fact, my son and daughter have used him as well.
