History

Established in 2003.

After graduating from Temple University’s School of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Phan established himself in Murrieta, CA and has had continuous success as a dentist serving the Inland Empire.

Dr. Long Phan is a dentist your whole family will love. His kindness, gentle nature, dedication to excellence, and compassion shows through his work. Dr. Phan also welcomes patients of all ages.

Dr. Phan graduated from Temple University, School of Dentistry in 1998, and has had a successful practice in Murrieta, California ever since. After graduating, he completed numerous post-​doctorate hours of clinical training using the most current techniques in aesthetic, implant, and general dentistry. With an unyielding quest for more knowledge, he is dedicated to staying on top in the latest techniques and resources to provide the absolute best care for his patients. He was inducted as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry; a prestigious award representing a serious commitment to Continuing Dental Education and a well-​rounded practice.

I needed a wisdom tooth pulled that had rotted being that I couldn’t reach it. My new dental insurance didn’t activate for another 3 weeks so I had to find an oral surgeon who could do it beforehand because the pain was nearly unbearable. I found TLC Dental and Dr. Phan through 1800 dentist. When I called their office and explained my level of pain, they told me to come right in. When I got there, I waited less than 5 min with no appointment. His office was very clean and furnished like he really cares for his patients’ comfort. His staff was friendly and courteous, and I found Dr. Phan to be gentle, caring and genuine. The tooth extraction cost me $ 150 and the pain was gone immediately. If I had PPO insurance I’d be a returning customer. If you have PPO, I highly recommend this office.

I had major work 3 tooth extractions and a deep cleaning… from the time I came in leading up to the time I had to get the work done everyone was awesome Erica front desk, the dental assistant, the hygienist… and Dr. phan my 1st time coming here and loved it felt comfortable

I’ve been coming to this dentist since 2008. We made an advance appointment for both of us to get our teeth whitened. I showed up for my appointment yesterday, they cleaned my teeth, did x-​rays and an exam and then prepped me for whitening. When the dentist started the procedure, only then did he find out that he couldn’t do the procedure because they didn’t have the bleach.
I told them that my fiancé had an appointment for the next day and they assured me they would go to the other office and get what they needed and that he wouldn’t need to reschedule.
He showed up for his appointment just now and was told that they couldn’t do it because they didn’t get the bleach after all.
They weren’t very apologetic or accommodating after we told them we’re getting married in less than 30 days. They offered us another appointment for the end of the month.

Best dentist and WORST accounting department, specifically Erika, who called me on and off for SIX MONTHS trying to get payment that was sent to her in April. Finally calling back in she told me, «Oh, it was taken care of.» … I asked if she was planning to call me to let me know? Her response was, «Yah, but we’ve just been super busy.»

I was extremely pleased with the kind service I received at TLC dental. I am new to the area so I was looking for a dentist and TLC was highly recommended. I had a terrible tooth ache and they got me in right away! I had a wisdom tooth taken out and the Dr. was so kind and as gentle as possible. The entire staff was so comforting and supportive. They even called to check on me after the procedure. I will never go anywhere else now!

I have been coming to this dental office for the last 2 years and I have been very impressed and satisfied with their services.
I would drive from Orange County to this dentist office for the quality service that they deliver. I’ve been to so many dentist growing up in Orange County and have not been satisfied with their service. My teeth are in good condition — I have been taking real good care of them since childhood and all I need is a good clean to maintain it. I have straight/​white teeth (with the help of braces duringmiddle school). With braces helped me to have good habits of brushing after meals, til this day 15 years later it’s still a part of my practice.
Maintenance is key! And I never had a cavity and I’m 30! *knock on wood*

Weekdays are usually better to come in for any services to avoid the wait on the weekends. Hey if they’re busy that means they are doing well in terms of delivering quality care and service.
I’m a nurse so I tend to pay close attention to sanitation and patient teaching. The hygienist is very friendly and she reinforces the importance of flossing. I’m guilty of not flossing everyday (normally when I have bbq). However, I am aware that lack of flossing could systemically effect your health such as your cv etC.
also, I noticed that they have very up to date technology! If you’re up to date with that usually means the physician is up to date with their work.
Being in the health field is exhausting and we have to refresh ourselves with the most up to date education and care for our patients (speaking from a nurse point of view). I found that this dentist office has the quality care, up to date technology/​knowledge, patient teaching, and a pleasant staff.
And you get a goody bag! I’m a happy camper

Will not be using this dental office anymore due to scheduling mistakes. TWICE, we had scheduled appointments with this office and then arrived to find out we weren’t on the schedule. Then, after being told we weren’t on the schedule, having to wait for 45+ minutes before being called back.

All of the dental assistants were extremely nice and caring. Then the dentist came in, I had a cut on my lip so it hurt to open super wide, but it was wide enough, he kept patting my cheek to open up wider, and was being super rough and pushing my head back and forth, finally he rolled his eyes and put a orthodontist mouth opener in my mouth to keep it open and continued to be rough and rude. Idk if it was a bad day for him or what, but I am Never again will I go back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Long Phan for about a year and a half. I recently had a full set of crown replacements. Although I did not do it for cosmetic reasons, the results were fantastic! I can now chew properly without biting the insides of my cheeks. Dr. Phan and his staff are very professional. Before I had this done, I did not have very much experience with dental work. Now, I have no fear of dentists and would highly recommend TLC Dental.
