Description

Specialties

At Deb’s Doggercise we provide a safe, structured environment with trainer supervision to ensure your fur kids will have the most enjoyable time at daycare with their friends. Our maximum capacity for play is 25 dogs. We feel that high volume daycares that allow 50 — 100 dogs a day are just not safe, enjoyable environments for any dog. Daycare is Monday through Friday.

We also provide boarding in our large, comfy playrooms (no concrete kennels here). Boarding is 247.

I am a Force Free trainer and offer a large variety of basic and specialty training classes as well as private training sessions. Training classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Private sessions will be scheduled by appointment on a case by case basis.

History

Established in 2009.

During the last 5 years I have been involved in rescue and have fostered many dogs and puppies that needed help and homes. The number of dogs needing help is enormous here in our area. Fostering in my home limited me to how many I was able to help at one time. I decided to open a doggie daycare /boarding facility in hopes that I would have the space and opportunity to save more lives… and I have!!! We have had over 60 fosters this year already and have set a goal to foster and save no less than 100 puppies from euthanasia at county shelters in 2015!!!

Meet the Business Owner

Debbie M.

Business Owner

I am a certified Force Free trainer, and an advocate for humane and compassionate treatment of all animals. I have been practicing in the Myrtle Beach area for 5+ years. I will never use a shock, prong, or choke collar on any dog, ever! I am an AKC certified CGC & STAR Puppy evaluator. I have 7 dogs of my own, all of them are rescues and help me train. Over the last several years I have fostered many dogs in need of homes. This year alone I have taken in over 60 foster dogs, most of which were shelter puppies scheduled for euthanasia. It takes a village, and together we CAN make a difference.
