History

Established in 2000.

Island Inspired Boards started in 1997 in Oahu on the North Shore with Todd making his own boards for some custom orders and also shaping for private labels like Strong Current and Russ K. In Myrtle Beach our factory opened in 2000. Todd has been making boards for companies like HIC, Matador, Hawaiian Designs, McKevlin and our own Island Inspired Brand ever since. Surfboards and Paddleboards made here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with a world class quality that is unlike any you will find on the mid east coast and beyond.

Business Owner

Todd Sutz is the Master Craftsman behind the depth and quality of the boards we make. Todd has been inspired to create artistically beautiful and dynamically functional boards for the east coast and beyond. It is his desire to get each person, regardless of their current ability or talent, on the best board for them at the best price possible. Surfing is not just for the elite. It is a sport that can be enjoyed and pursued by everyone. Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) falls into that same philosophy.
